Hi everyone - [ Wave! ] This is actually mostly a question for the shinki... but I think I want to include the gods that might remember their time as shinki as well!

As the new year approaches, a friend and I were talking about how I'd been here in the Far Shore for seven months now, and I was pretty sure- [ She gestures with a finger waggle. ] That a few of you have been here longer. The exemplar of my temple definitely has, and a few of my friends as well, but maybe a few of you I haven't met yet also have been here awhile?

If you're okay with telling me, I'm curious to know! And maybe as a New Year's thing... hmmm...

[ She clasps her hands in front of her. ] Oh, I know! Whether you're god or shinki, do you have a favorite memory from this last year? Let's remember the good times together!

[As a newbie approaching two and a half months, there's not much to say on the first question. But for the second... well, Ginia has some thoughts on good memories.

It's also video for once because it's good signing practice for Kairi and the very wiggly, attention-seeking white puppy in her lap makes typing difficult.]

No, I think that's a great memory! There's quite a few of you there, right? I know how warm that can feel, G-I-N-I-A.

Four of us. Caster, Archer, Lancer, and me. Plus four dogs and a pack of wolves in the forest.

[She pauses and laughs softly.]

And Archer cooks for a ton of people so there are always visitors.

[ As nice and cozy as her temple used to be. She's all smiles. ]

Does he cook for a ton of people hoping for visitors? Or does he cook a lot and you invite people over to make sure it gets eaten?

[ She chuckles. ]

I'm not sure how it really started, but Archer always cooks really nice lunch boxes everyday and there are always regulars that come by to pick them up or hang out to eat. I think he cooks more in case new people come by too.

[Ginia leans in, playfully glancing from side to side, keeping her signs small and secretive, as if she wasn't commenting on the network where everyone can see.]

I think Archer really enjoys cooking and seeing people happy. He's really sweet like that.

It was early March when I first got here! So that's... [Give him a second, you might hear him quietly counting it out,] Almost 10 months? It's been a long time!

[As for the 'favorite memory' bit, that's a little harder. He hums in thought for a few moments before concluding,] You know, kahaha, pretty much anything our temples did as a big group? Does that count?

[ Well gosh, no wonder he was the Exemplar then. Maybe that's how much longer Davesprite has been with Hajime. ]

I know what you mean, though. Probably my favorite will always be the first big party they hosted just after I arrived.

[ For one thing, that's when she met Forrest. ]

[Oh! Chalk that one up to 'the topic never came up', he guesses. That's fine, she knows now, for whatever the information may be worth.]

Oh, yeah! That was great! [He may not have been, and still isn't, really... equipped to handle that many people at the same time. Regardless of how completely awkward it may have been for him at the time, it's a pretty fond memory, honestly.] Everyone was always really nice and welcoming, you know? It felt really... [How to put this?] Cozy? [Yeah, that feels about right.]

[ But she's laughing as she 'accuses' him of this gap. She'd always assumed maybe just a month or so. Maybe 4-5 weeks. ]

I'll remember that when I have questions about what I missed before I got here. Anyway, yeah, cozy is a good word for it - and why I liked it so much.

[ Definitely why she misses it so much too. ]

I-I guess I can try and answer any questions you have...! Kahaha! [It seems kind of like a silly offer from his end - he may have been here longer but Kairi definitely seems like the type to generally be way more knowledgeable about... basically everything.

Do you ever do anything like it at your new temple? Big parties like that?

[ She's immediately attentive. She knows perfectly well that Izumo is older than her and thus not inclined to spill every detail of his life with her, despite being on good terms, but !!!!! if he brought it up first, then she's absolutely hoping he'll give her more info. ]

Like, dating?

[ Let her be happy for you, Izumo! ]
