Hi everyone - [ Wave! ] This is actually mostly a question for the shinki... but I think I want to include the gods that might remember their time as shinki as well!

As the new year approaches, a friend and I were talking about how I'd been here in the Far Shore for seven months now, and I was pretty sure- [ She gestures with a finger waggle. ] That a few of you have been here longer. The exemplar of my temple definitely has, and a few of my friends as well, but maybe a few of you I haven't met yet also have been here awhile?

If you're okay with telling me, I'm curious to know! And maybe as a New Year's thing... hmmm...

[ She clasps her hands in front of her. ] Oh, I know! Whether you're god or shinki, do you have a favorite memory from this last year? Let's remember the good times together!

Movies works too! I can make sure to have lots of snacks. Should we invite anyone else or just the two of us?

[Just the two of them? A party for only them?? Is that even something you can do?

He pauses for a second while he thinks it out - he hadn't considered the possibility of just spending a fun night while pitching ideas for what could work for a party, but... it does sound a little more appealing than being somewhere with a bunch of people he probably wouldn't know.]

Just the two of us... that sounds nice, actually...! [Yeah, it really does!] If you wanted to have the rest of your temple there, too, maybe I could invite mine... But just you and me would be a lot of fun!

Just us is fine, Raichi. We'll invite other people some other time. I know it's nice to hang out with just one other friend sometimes, as much as I like hanging out with all of my friends at once too.

Most times. [He doesn't have a lot going on much of the time, honestly. But, maybe something a little more specific would be better.] Sometime after the new year, would probably be good?

Yeah! That sounds great! Our own little belated New Year's party together. Have you figured out the kinds of movies you like, or should I just pick one?

[ And she knows enough not to pick one intended for very small children or filled with princesses and fairies, no matter how cute they may be. ]

[Cutesy movies and princess movies might not be much of a hit with him, not that he'd necessarily complain, but what would be better than that is...]

Um, something with a lot of action? That'd be fun to watch!

Well, you might have to explain a bit of what's going on to me, but I do like those kinds of movies! It's exciting, just hard to follow some time.
