Hi everyone - [ Wave! ] This is actually mostly a question for the shinki... but I think I want to include the gods that might remember their time as shinki as well!

As the new year approaches, a friend and I were talking about how I'd been here in the Far Shore for seven months now, and I was pretty sure- [ She gestures with a finger waggle. ] That a few of you have been here longer. The exemplar of my temple definitely has, and a few of my friends as well, but maybe a few of you I haven't met yet also have been here awhile?

If you're okay with telling me, I'm curious to know! And maybe as a New Year's thing... hmmm...

[ She clasps her hands in front of her. ] Oh, I know! Whether you're god or shinki, do you have a favorite memory from this last year? Let's remember the good times together!

Seven months huh? Time sure flies by. Ah. [ Oh. Oooh. Time really does fly by. ] There's been so much things happening this past half year, it's hard to choose among all the memories. What about you? Got any clue?

I suppose that makes you a good fit as Forrest's shinki.

Hmmm, I guess that they would, but I really don't see why they would feel the need to do that.

That so? That I'm Forrest's shinki is thanks to you anyway, so thanks. Going to ask him about it was made a bit easier since I'd actually participated in the sleepover and talked to him there.

Thank you for saying so! I'm happy for the both of you, since teamwork is one of those critical aspects of our bond with the gods. That a friend of mine, someone I trust, got to be my boyfriend's shinki is even better. You're right that it was more important you two knew each other beforehand as well. That's why I'm glad Hajime was willing to take me in.

That it makes you happy makes it even more important.

[ He may have his doubts about his suitability when it comes to helping with all of Forrest's duties as Lakshmi. He can't really do anything beyond fighting. But that's not something for this conversation. ]

Yeah, it's easier to have met a god first before you become their shinki, both in the case of asking them and being assigned. That's not to say that it didn't work with Riku when I first got here, since it did work out for the month I worked with him.

[ Riku was a good kid. And then he was with Grell for a month, and it's been several with Forrest. He's glad and relieved because he had been really worried around the one-month-mark. ]

Anyway I could say the same for you. It wouldn't matter if I personally thought you two worked together well, if you two weren't happy about it.
