Is it normal for people to stay asleep for some days straight in this place? Because it's been about a few days since Ginger collapsed asleep and it's pretty freaky.

I tried searching, but it doesn't actually yield any results. So it seems to be a 'heaven' thing.

Ginger is Lavi by the way.

All over. Right. Well, if he's upset about it then I'll deal with that when he's awake again.

[ Oh, he has no doubt that Shun, Mr 'Doesn't trust gifts,' would follow up on all of this himself no matter what he said. However he's not bothered by that, or whatever cleanup there may be after this is over and Lavi's awake again. At least he tried to be tactful in most of the threads. ]

When you say people, you mean shinki as well, right? Someone else was going on about how it was probably a way to experience one's home, but backtracked a little after I said it was a shinki because he only knew gods doing that.

It's in public threads on a post announcing he's incapacitated, which anyone who gives a damn about him is going to read.

I've seen it happen with shinki, so it can be both. But shinki wouldn't remember anything outside here anyway, so it's probably something else when it comes to them.

[Not to mention they should be too dead to be experiencing anything back home.]

Well, if it's bad or traumatic enough with whatever's happening, his god should feel it, right? So whatever's happening should be fine enough by that logic. She seems like the type that would be replying with more panic.

Not necessarily. I never heard anything from his god when he disappeared for a few days and turned up again in front of an underworld gate a few months back.

Well, he must have bad taste then. Being so fond of a god that obviously doesn't care that much about him and the choices he's made involving me. Who knows what else!

If you say that in front of him I can't imagine he'll make that mistake with you again. He's protective about his god. But if we're talking about you, then he definitely has bad taste.

That's not about giving permission. It's just me saying that I won't give a shit if you do. That doesn't really affect me.

You pretend you know about things to piss people off, you don't see the problem with considering others servants or calling gifts "offerings". You also mostly seem to care about whether you can do what you like instead of having any thought for other people.

[i.e. revealing the whole personal matter with Lavi instead of just focusing on the fact that he hadn't woken up.]

Why would I see a problem with some people being considered servants? It's not like I'm calling them slaves. If they're all dressed the same, seem to hide any signs of personality and just stick to their orders, my first thought is that they're one of the two.

It's not like I consider all gifts 'offerings' either.

You were acting like others should see it the same way you do. And that's not how the newcomer shinki are anyway, so the comment was stupid in the first place if that was your reasoning.

I see you're not arguing the last thing, which is the biggest problem anyway.

I said it in the way that came naturally, and if things were different than someone could say something. I've come to accept that I'm just an outsider to everyone pretty early on.

Why would I argue the last part? Most people only care about what they can do before thinking about others as well. If something goes up in flames because of it, then someone can get their heroism kink out of putting it out. I don't have enough to spare to consider everyone else.

Considering I haven't seen any reasons why anyone would trust you, it's not surprising you're "just an outsider to everyone".

The fact that you think the only reason to give a damn about others is if someone wants to be a hero says enough. But the most likely thing to go up in flames in that case is you anyway.

Being seen as an outsider isn't about whether people trust me or not. I don't see any reason for others to trust me either, so it's a moot point.

[ There's only one thing he can be trusted on- his loyalty to his god. Which only goes so far, and really doesn't say much about everyone else. He knows it doesn't give a good image, but he hasn't had a reason to improve that impression given to people. ]

Maybe I will. If that's the case, you can be sure that I'll do so in a way that makes an impact around here.

We've had people try that before. There's not a lot of things that leave a lasting impact when people continually move in and out of here.

[And if Judar wants to get himself killed, that's fine, but if he's taking anyone with him, that's where Shun has to draw the line.]

Never said lasting. Just an impact. Haven't decided on anything past that at this point.
