So this is just a hypothetical question (really, I swear on my shinki status) but what if a shinki gets named by someone they don't want to be named by, or if they change their mind later and the god doesn't want to let them go, do we have to go talk to some higher up god or can we just murder the god in question and get rid of the name we want to be rid of that way?

And what kind of idiot god would you have to have that they wouldn't be suspicious after the first death? Or if they have any friends that might be suspicious, assuming the loss of memories is enough to throw them off. You've already proven to the entire Far Shore that there's at least one shinki around who thinks murdering an unwanted god is a good solution, so you're not exactly helping your own scheme.

The power dynamic between gods and shinki means that you don't have the luxury of a direct conflict, it's just not a reliable option. I'm not saying you have to rely on others to solve your problems for you. Take initiative and make them solve your problems for you. Surely you're smart enough to come up with a way to turn two people against eachother, kukuku.

Whether you put parts of the truth into it or not is up to you. Does it matter how the problem is solved if the end result is the same?

The point is that it's a plan that relies on too many uncertain factors. It's unreliable. Perhaps it might be worth trying under the right circumstances, but it's too easy for it to backfire on you if it doesn't go exactly right. What do you plan to do if you're caught and end up trapped in your vessel, unable to escape or defend yourself?

Make them indebted to you first, or make it so the flavor can be repaid immediately in a way of your choosing. Besides, there are enough soft-hearted gods here that would be willing to do such a thing for free. That should be obvious from the responses you got.

[not including himself, of course. he's just giving some advice, that's all!!]

Do you have a problem with taking advantage of foolish generosity? Kekeke.
