hi it’s sora, working name baldr!

question. are ayakashi supposed to be able to get close to our temples? mega close nearly inside almost smashing stuff up, close?

i don’t think that’s normal-- but if it is i need to find away to protect my temple so it doesn’t happen again! it’s a real royal pain in my butt and not safe for my shinki either if i’m not there and it happens again! does anyone have any good ideas?

does my temple being on the shore have anything to do with it? bleh.

Have you tried putting up wards? That should help.

Yes. At least that's what I found while looking things up about shinto temples.

this one didn't, it was a giant fish that grew legs, eyeballs all over it's body!

I'm seconding that you should get in touch with one of Amaterasu's people and get that looked at.

I have never encountered situation like this. But then I've not been here long, so my experience is limited.

Maybe there as kind of wards in place. Near the temples, I mean. And they need to be activated and/or maintained?

[ that's a guess of course, but he's trying to come up with something that makes sense. and he's totally checking around their own temple too ]

i have no idea but that's a really great place to start. i'll have to check if there are any wards put up and if they're not working properly! if they aren't working right what should i do though, i don't know how to place wards or fix them...

That does seems strange now that you mention it. I didn't notice at the time but was there anything out of the ordinary with this ayakashi? It was awfully big to be out here all on it's own?

it is weird, right? it seemed really really big to be so near my temple and no humans around. like mega big! it grew legs and came up on shore!

[If any more come through, Sora'll be in some big trouble. He'll be alone instead of with a bunch of other gods and shinki.]

I could be wrong but something of that size usually doesn't come alone right? [Meaning that part could be notable in and of itself.]

that's what makes me so worried it was really way too big for what it was... i'm really worried more might show up and what do i if i'm not home at the time. GUH

thats what i would like to know! it just came all the way up onto shore like it owned my temple! i really don't know why! i'm worried about it happening again...

everyone is okay! it happened two days ago, no more have come up through the ocean since then, but good grief!

I haven't seen any on the Far Shore so far.

I guess they might get through sometimes, but getting that close to a temple, that's really weird.
