-----------

This is Genos. Shinki to slavic god of hospitality, Radegast. If possible, I request assistance from those more experienced in workings of the Far Shore.

Today I've returned to my god's temple, with an uninvited guest.

[ A short video attachment, shows Genos chin down, with his shirt rolled high up, almost to the collarbone. That's it if he even had visible collarbones. The hatch on his chest is open, and in the cavity, among all the machinery, right next to the glowing blue orb, lies a kitten. Fur disheveled, and it seems to have hurt leg, but aside from that it's a normal, albeit homeless, kitten. It wakes up, blinks owlishly to the camera, yawns, and goes back to sleep, snuggling comfortably. ]

Should I assume I've been interacting with a ghost-cat from the start? It could see me, and tried to make me pay attention to it. Which is unlikely other inhabitants of the Near Shore.

However if it's not a ghost, would the travel to the Far Shore hurt it? Is there any official protocol on giving a temporary shelter to such Near Shore creatures?

They don't really seem all that different to me...

While grown boars are quite ferocious, their piglets are incredibly sweet and precious! It is my hope that someday, I may fetch Inoshishi no Ino from my home and bring him here. Genos's kitten is making me miss him sorely.

he's your tiny pet! awww i bet he's a precious thing. if he were here, he might have competition in between Genos's kitten and Slaine's for cuteness

it'd be nice to bring something from home to here

I don't really consider him a pet. Ino really is a wild animal I encountered in the woods, he just became very attached to me and I'm fond of him.

He is very precious, though. I can't sit down without him trying to climb into my lap.

a loyal companion, then... did you teach him any tricks?

your lap must be one of his favorite spots to lie down! ufufufu (⌒▽⌒)☆

He did all my training with me back home. I wouldn't say I taught him any tricks, but he's certainly more prepared to defend himself than when we first met.

I would imagine it's more comfortable to lay on than the ground, if nothing else.

in other words, he's a fighter just like you. the more you talk about him, the more i really want to meet him

You and Hajime have both expressed interest in him. If I get the chance, I would be more than happy to show him off.
