and also theres some flyers about them around now i guess

how actually useful are the spells we can learn
or are they just kind of arbitrary bullshit powers

I am one of those sorts, yeah.
We call phonograph cylinders recorders, but the description you’re giving makes it sound more like phonograph records. But those are still new in my time.
Wouldn’t moving the records while the needle is on ruin the record? That’s why you have to be careful when you listen, so the needle doesn’t cause scratches and ruin it.
I haven’t really watched any movies at all, and I’m not sure I’ll like to see those about the cowboy days. The making of one I stumbled on the other day didn’t impress me.
Gaul? I don’t know where that is, though I have met a Roman before. It seems they were involved in a lot of fighting. Five centuries is a long time, when a lifetime isn’t even one.

Cursed saddles would be pretty weird. Though I’m guessing that might not be what is meant.

That big a deal? Not the people most intense of battle I have met this far, but then war isn’t something I understand.

because theyre a hipster niche item now
but theyre still pretty cheap
and you can pick up used ones really cheap if theyre not in high demand

I heard Europe is or used to be a pretty big deal.

cds are the modern version of a record
they're little silver discs
and cd players read music from them using a fancy laser
its basically the same disc with grooves deal but more futuristicy
hipsters are people who think theyre better than everyone else because they listen to bands youve never heard of
or eat food that nobody else likes

europe is still a pretty big deal
also how do you not know what im talking about
you had to have typed something in to get onto this forum

Right, all right. I guess it’s something that an old timer like me won’t understand that easily.
Is that something to feel better for? I know that a fair amount of people, particularly wealthy people, like to think that they’re better than everyone else. But that seems strange reasons to feel like they’re better.

And I don't mind just asking people, it's how we always learned stuff, in my day.
