Hello, everyone. I've been working on lists for study groups, and references for them as well as investigative notes, but I wanted to pose a different offer this time. Hence, why this post will have attachments in the form of photos rather than text this time.

[ Follow his trek, everyone, through the kitchen and under the free standing stairs, to one of his numerous tatami rooms that lead outside on the first floor. He's immediately greeted by a chorus of meows and chirps, any sort of noise a cat might make when pleased at a person, and that's where he comes to a stop. ]

I've been picking up stray cats, as well as cats from the shelter that were having a hard time finding families, and have been working on socializing them. All of them are in good health at the moment, have had all their vaccines and the like, and are fixed - except one, but more on her in a moment. You see, I've been hoping to find them permanent homes, either here or on the other Shore. Pretty much all of the ones I have are currently ready for that, so I was wondering if there was anyone that was maybe considering a cat for a companion.

Anyone that isn't homed is going to go up for adoption to the other Shore, but I figured you all could have first dibs.

If you just want to come and see them, you can do that, too. The aforementioned special cat is actually a new mother, so there are newborn kittens here now.

[ This is when he turns the phone around, camera focused on the cats around his feet. That's the end of the video!

As mentioned, there are pictures attached. What these cats look like are up to dealer's choice, if they wanted to adopt one or coo over one in particular, and Souji literally has enough variety that any picture would do.

[ Yona only very sporadically catches messages on the BBS, but she just so happened to be playing around with it this morning when this video pops up. Figuring out how to watch it has her expression lighting up at the sight of all the cats shown here looking for a home. Considering all her temple has is a herd of horses, she immediately thinks a cat or two might be nice to add here as well. Surely Shizuo won't mind much, right? ]

Ah... Izanagi-san, yes? I can offer a home to some, if you're still looking for a place for some of them?

[ Maybe that would help make her temple feel a little less... empty. ]

[ If Yona were to mention the horses, Souji would be happy to tell her that horses and cats tend to get along. After all, horses spook easily - a mouser prevents rodents from startling them and causing them to hurt themselves. ]

Or Seta Souji - Izanagi is my god title. [ He gives a smile, but nods. ] I am. There's a lot of them looking for good homes.

It is a pleasure to meet you, Seta Souji! I have a rather large temple that feels very empty at the moment. I wouldn't mind giving a few of them homes, if they need it. So far it's only my shinki and I here and all we have is a herd of horses that roam the grounds. They're very pretty but not very good for cuddling.

Are your horses stabled, or free roaming? A cat or two in the stables would actually be a good match, since they're commonly used for mousing, so that rodents don't spook the horses. It's pretty cute, actually, since horses will treat cats like little herd members, once they get used to having them around, and groom them.

But cuddling is very important, above all else.

Ahh... they have a stable, but they prefer to roam, mostly. The few times I tried to keep them stabled they found their way out on their own so I... mostly let them do what they want now. [ She's still trying to figure out how they did that, exactly. ]

but I never realized horses were so fond of cats! I guess that explains why there were often ones in the stables back home. I'd never thought to question it before.

That's not too surprising. [ Horses are smart, from what he's learned. (Souji needs to get off wiki sites when he's supposed to be sleeping, probably.) But he looks down at all of the cats around him thoughtfully. ]

I've got some cuddlers that would be pretty good mousers, when given the chance. They've mostly had practice on bugs around the garden here at my temple, but they're pretty fond of spending just as much time in your lap if you let them.

[ Hers are a little stranger than normal, but she's finding that out for herself.

His offer has her smiling. ] That sounds perfect, actually. I can swing by and pick them up, if that's easier? Ahh, how many are there? [ Because now she's pondering the simplest method of transporting them. She might need Shizuo's hands as well... ]

[ All animals are a little peculiar, on the Far Shore. Souji's pretty sure his cats can traverse between the two Shores when he's not looking... it wouldn't shock him, anyways.

He looks back up, tilting his head. ] However many you'd like, within reason, but I can think of two or three in particular that would be right for the job.

I will be happy to take whichever ones you think would be appropriate. There's a lot of room to roam here and not a lot of bodies to fill it. [ Her tone is a little wistful at that. ] but if it's alright, I'll swing by in a little while to see them in person?

I understand what that's like. [ His temple is big, so having all the people he does has helped a great deal. But it's a homey kind of big, the sort you'd like to fill up, so. ] You're welcome to come by whenever you're free - I'll be around all day.
