Who can say? I like having my independence, but I know I am likely the last woman who can, in some way, carry on my family's blood-line.

Yes... I know what that's like as well. The burden of expectation isn't something to be taken lightly.

It doesn't help that I'd rather not think of it as a burden. In a good marriage, having children should be a joy; not a duty.
