No. My experience with engagements and marriages has not been pleasant or based on love.

Don't go about actively looking for it. Might just drop into your lap when you least expect it. This place brings all sorts so even if you don't find love, I'm sure you'll find something.

Love here would be temporary, though, wouldn't it? I cannot say it wouldn't be fulfilling, but -

I do not know fully what I want, admittedly. (One minute she loves her independence and is ready to be a fierce goddess; the next she feels lonely and discontent.) I can always use more friends.

I don't fancy dwelling on that bit. But then again, it's better to live for the now rather than fear the future, right? He's what makes me happy so I'd rather hang on to that for as long as I can.

If you could use more friends then I happily volunteer! I'd say we're already off to a cracking good start.

Decency is a rarity. I know far more men and women who would use others for their selfish ambitions and leave them in ruin. Some would even go so far as to call that their gratitude.
