Good evening!

Thank you to everyone who has been taking advantage of the classes at Menrva's temple. To those of you who have not yet had the chance to stop by, please find a schedule available here.

Of course, we are also happy to make space available for additional classes if you have a skill or a subject to share. Please contact me or my goddess Elsa Randall for scheduling.

Which brings me to my second reason for contacting all of you! Since many of us aren't yet comfortable with the Internet, we'd like to raise money in order to purchase at least one computer. We already have a few offers to teach. Any donations that you can spare will go directly towards purchasing equipment and

getting us online!

Thank you very much for your consideration. We appreciate any and all assistance.

I hope to see you at the temple soon.

Integral calculus. We just finished trigonometric substitution.

I thought Near Shore residents couldn't see us. How do we take odd jobs there?

Got it-- thanks.

I saw you already have teachers for using the computer. Do you have an IT person for security, or any tech support for troubleshooting hardware and software malfunctions?

[Never used a computer before??? ....Uh oh.]

You definitely need someone handling security!

Ideally you should have someone familiar with software and coding as well. Computers can be thought of as having a body and a mind like a person. Someone that can build and repair the hardware is enough for the body of the computer, but many problems with them have to do with its mind, like software bugs, program incompatibilities, and malware infections.

I've done my fair share of work on them.

I'd be glad to help! It's the least I can do in exchange for the lessons. And it would be great for you to watch and ask questions along the way! Understanding the risks and precautions will help you keep it safe.

There are no stupid questions-- computers take some getting used to!

[And he very much doubts Hakkai would be one to ask them if they did exist. Omi has the impression that the man is quite smart.]

But they're wonderful tools. I look forward to helping you set them up. Please contact me when you're ready.
