Good evening!

Thank you to everyone who has been taking advantage of the classes at Menrva's temple. To those of you who have not yet had the chance to stop by, please find a schedule available here.

Of course, we are also happy to make space available for additional classes if you have a skill or a subject to share. Please contact me or my goddess Elsa Randall for scheduling.

Which brings me to my second reason for contacting all of you! Since many of us aren't yet comfortable with the Internet, we'd like to raise money in order to purchase at least one computer. We already have a few offers to teach. Any donations that you can spare will go directly towards purchasing equipment and

getting us online!

Ah, I would appreciate advice. I couldn't understand most of the technical specifications.

If you tell me how you intend to use the computer, I can come up with a few recommendations.

I want it to be able to do enough to teach a beginner how to use important functions!

I don't know what those functions might be, either, though.

I think the most basic functions would be email, internet, and word processing. Secondarily, I would add in spreadsheets and databases. If you want to watch videos, play games, create presentations or manipulate graphics and other media, you would need to adjust the specs accordingly so the computer can handle those tasks. And install the necessary programs.

Spreadsheets, such as for accounting? That sounds like a good idea.

I'd like videos and presentation capabilities as well, but I don't think we'll need any games. These are for a school, after all.

[ Games are actually somewhat useful in learning things sometimes, but Nagi doesn't argue. He'll slip in a few games like typing tutor, solitaire, and driving sims. It's easier to make justifications later than ask for permission now. As for where he's going to procure the licenses for all the programs he'll be loading ... well. Hakkai doesn't need to know that either, and probably doesn't care to. ]
