[ Yoon appears on the video feed from the kitchen of Hakkai's school, but Goten is in frame as well. ]

Hey, listen up everyone who wrote out wishes at Tanabata. I know a bunch of you didn't want to leave your name. There were several that said stuff like...

[ And here he gestures to the countertop of the kitchen, where several platters of food freshly made are shown. They aren't dressed up for presenting at a restaurant. They were just several batches that Yoon and Goten made together as part of his training - reading training, that is. He reads the recipes to Yoon and Yoon makes the food. After yesterday, it felt like a good distraction to him. ]

Ikayaki, takoyaki, tuna, and salmon.

[ The tuna and salmon are prepared several ways. ]

So if you did want to eat these things, come by at some point. I won't know if it was really you or not, and I don't care. Just hurry up. Anybody else can have small bites too. Be honest. That's all I can ask.

Small bites? Yoon...

[ Goten doesn't sound too pleased with that. He grins, waving to the screen. ]

Come get all you want before it's all gone! We don't want any of it to go to waste.

[ Careful observers may notice an empty plate near Goten. Reasons why he can offer all of this food to other people. ]

Of course it's a lot. Goten needed several tries before he was ready to help with the last batch.

Well it was kind of a two-for-one thing where I needed something specific to teach Goten with, so I just picked some things I remembered from Tanabata. Then I thought I might as well offer them to whoever wished for it in the first place.

They could be someone from the Near Shore, though.

Yeah well the people who helped make the food in the first place deserve to eat first, don't you think?

So long as they're helping make it. I'm just used to my personal mooch barging in for first rights, like it's some lion come waltzing up to a fresh zebra that he didn't have any hand in taking down.

Fish is good! I donno when Yoon went and caught it all but we worked really hard to get the recipes right! It took awhile too!

My wish! Did my wishes! So much food! [She looks so delighted] Did not mean so many dishes, could just have given fresh salmon, would have accepted too! Ahhh, I do not know where to begin...!

Well... if they're really your wish or wishes, you could come by the school and have some to eat. It's fresh after all. I bought the ingredients this morning.
