Video: Yoon and Goten made goodies

[ Yoon appears on the video feed from the kitchen of Hakkai's school, but Goten is in frame as well. ]

Hey, listen up everyone who wrote out wishes at Tanabata. I know a bunch of you didn't want to leave your name. There were several that said stuff like...

[ And here he gestures to the countertop of the kitchen, where several platters of food freshly made are shown. They aren't dressed up for presenting at a restaurant. They were just several batches that Yoon and Goten made together as part of his training - reading training, that is. He reads the recipes to Yoon and Yoon makes the food. After yesterday, it felt like a good distraction to him. ]

Ikayaki, takoyaki, tuna, and salmon.

[ The tuna and salmon are prepared several ways. ]

So if you did want to eat these things, come by at some point. I won't know if it was really you or not, and I don't care. Just hurry up. Anybody else can have small bites too. Be honest. That's all I can ask.

Small bites? Yoon...

[ Goten doesn't sound too pleased with that. He grins, waving to the screen. ]

Come get all you want before it's all gone! We don't want any of it to go to waste.

[ Careful observers may notice an empty plate near Goten. Reasons why he can offer all of this food to other people. ]

Expectations? Hardly. It's like teaching Goten how to read through cooking. He's another bottomless pit for food.

Sounds like fun! Come teach at Zeno and Kaya's temple, too! It'll be fun~

You CAN read, can't you? So you should be able to teach Kaya yourself.

[As far as Yoon knows, Goten doesn't have anyone to teach him.]

Cooking is one thing, especially if you provide the materials, but teaching is another.

[Kaya takes some cooking lessons, he's pretty sure. It's a roundabout way of inviting them over to visit.]

[There is no teeeeeeeechnically. Everyone gotta eat even people that don't. Food is too good to pass up and being hungry isn't fun]

I won't let you down, Zeno! I'll do my best! Just some of everything?

No more than you can easily carry, or else Mother will catch you!

If you're close by then I can make lots of trips!

How smart, how smart! Zeno must share everything you bring to keep that clever head happy and healthy! Are you at his temple or yours??

We're at the school! Hurry up and get over here before it's all gone!

[An excellent idea, and Zeno makes his way there preeeeetty quickly. Even with teleporting abilities.

He doesn't go right in, though. He waits at the doorway, and tries to beckon to Goten while Yoon isn't looking.]

Tell Zeno there's something left!

[A quick glance to Yoon, who is busy doing something else or distracted from their post, and Goten is gathering up a plate or two before bouncing over to the door way.]

Of course! I'd always save some for you, Zeno.

[He grins wholeheartedly up at the dragon before offering the plates.]

I tried to get you some of everything. Here.

An honor to be remembered, always!

[Zeno ruffles his hair. Immediately offers Goten a tuna roll and flops bonelessly to sit there on the ground, just behind the doorway.]

Aaah, so much talent went into these... Zeno is so spoiled!

How much did you get for yourself, first? Zeno can't eat while you're hungry!

[Goten grins and is quick to plop down next to him as he takes the offered tuna roll. Even if he brought the food over to Zeno, he's not going to say no to food.]

Yoon is super good at making sure things look good. He's very....exact?

[Is that the right word?]

I had a couple plates and I got to taste test while we were cooking it. I can get more, this is for you Zeno! Eat!

[Goten shoves the tuna roll into his mouth.]

[It sounds right to Zeno.]

He's so good to not only teach, but to do it in a fun way! Zeno wishes someone had this idea when he learned to read!

Zeno could probably use some extra lessons on the writing here! Maybe drop that idea in the kid's lap, all right? Zeno will make sure you get to sit on every lesson!

I can ask Yoon about it showing you more about writting but I'd rather be training then doing that. Cooking is sort of fun because I know if I learn how to do it I can make stuff for my friends. Like you Zeno!

But writing and math and stuff like that sounds so boring.

[Yoon is already pushing him by making him look up every word he has a question on okay]
