[ Yoon appears on the video feed from the kitchen of Hakkai's school, but Goten is in frame as well. ]

Hey, listen up everyone who wrote out wishes at Tanabata. I know a bunch of you didn't want to leave your name. There were several that said stuff like...

[ And here he gestures to the countertop of the kitchen, where several platters of food freshly made are shown. They aren't dressed up for presenting at a restaurant. They were just several batches that Yoon and Goten made together as part of his training - reading training, that is. He reads the recipes to Yoon and Yoon makes the food. After yesterday, it felt like a good distraction to him. ]

Ikayaki, takoyaki, tuna, and salmon.

[ The tuna and salmon are prepared several ways. ]

So if you did want to eat these things, come by at some point. I won't know if it was really you or not, and I don't care. Just hurry up. Anybody else can have small bites too. Be honest. That's all I can ask.

Small bites? Yoon...

[ Goten doesn't sound too pleased with that. He grins, waving to the screen. ]

Come get all you want before it's all gone! We don't want any of it to go to waste.

[ Careful observers may notice an empty plate near Goten. Reasons why he can offer all of this food to other people. ]

He is showing me but its with lots of reading. He makes me look up stuff a lot..

[Boy is he trying though. Reading is so boring. But it's for Izumo so it's okay.]

I didn't wanna learn from you so I got Yoon to help me.

Making you look stuff up - that's definitely one way of learning how to read.

[Goten, you're too precious.

A flicker of surprise though before he chuckles.]

Are you saying I'm not a good enough teacher? [He's teasing, Goten, so don't worry.]

Yeah....Yoon really loves books.

[Goten just finds that weird, but whatever. More power to you Yoon]

Hmm? No you're the best teacher!

[Straightforward, he didn't even need a second to think about that answer.]

But if I learn from you then I couldn't surprise you. You cook for everyone and do lots of stuff for everyone.... So I wanna do this for you! Imma get good at cooking and make you something super good!

[Goten, you're really something.

But upon hearing that, he looks surprised.]

That's really kind of you to do that, Goten.

I like when people read to me! [Aymeric does that sometimes before bed!] More then reading them...

[Words are hard okay. Even if he is strong, fast and everything, his reading abilty is probably a little less then where it should be for a kid his age.]

You do the same for me, Izumo!

[Goten just smiles but the question does make his head tilt to the side a bit]

Yeah, but you're not a lot of people...? You're my best friend.

[He doesn't get what you're getting at here??]

[And since he's just admitted this over the network, it's time to backpedal a bit.]
