Hey! Um... so I've been thinking about this for a couple of days, but I heard....

[He trails off before regrouping. He should've rehearsed this before he started recording it, but he's got no idea how to go back and delete and re-record now. Onward!]

I heard I used to be a god! I mean, I don't remember, obviously, but if I really was, I guess I should say I'm sorry. And I look forward to meeting you all again. And, um.

[Really should have rehearsed.]

I don't owe anybody money, right?

[He laughs uncomfortably and rushes ahead.]

-- Anyway I guess that's about it! Nice to meet you all again! Sorry I forgot!

[Nailed it. Before he can think better of this whole idea, he hastily stops the recording and hits send.]

Wow. I guess you'd mostly have to be gods, right? To know you're from somewhere else?

But that's weird. How did you get here?

Yes, I am. Our shinki are not so blessed. (For good reason. She will never try to bridge that gap for them.)

Amaterasu summoned me and paired me with the Georgian goddess Dali.

She did? Personally?

... I thought she didn't get that involved with the newbies.

That is what I was led to believe?

Involved, no, but that does not mean she did not summon us.

No, I mean, I'm not saying you're wrong! Just that they didn't tell me a lot other than to go find my goddess and she'd explain everything. And then I got lost at the Tanabata street festival, and --

Um. I guess, long story short, I just didn't hear that much. Did anybody tell you what she summoned us to do? Other than just be gods?

It is difficult to adjust and I would say that is doubly so for a shinki. Have you spoken to your goddess about your questions?

(She doesn't mind answering the questions she can, but some she has to take on faith - a difficult concept for one who lost her faith due to senseless violence.)

To protect Heaven from beasts. We are to wage battle with the skills we have been given.

[But his goddess doesn't like asking anything of him. Tsuzuki's silent for a minute, rubbing the back of his neck, then brightens up deliberately.]

Anyway, protecting people from angry ghosts and answering their prayers is pretty much what I'd heard too, I just wondered if you knew anything else! Thanks.

I'm sorry I disappointed. (Sansa is content with her temple and her shinki. She is curious about the bigger picture, but she isn't willing to risk her haven for it. It has been a long, long time since she had a true place to call home.)
