I know that adjusting to a new name is a serious undertaking for most people, but the common use of an individual's god name does not seem to be wide spread. Admittedly, my sample size is still relatively small, but most of the other gods I have met thus far have introduced themselves with their mortal names first, and then given their god name second. Is this because many have not yet adjusted to the new name, or are we not supposed to use our god names?

I'm making the adjustment myself, and I think it would be easier if I was a little more informed about what my relationship with my god name is meant to be. I, personally, am perfectly comfortable with dropping my old title in favor of Hermes, but if it's something meant for followers only, I can adjust my expectations accordingly.

You might as well respect a vase or a picture. We have our strengths but we don't necessarily live like humans can.

Humanity is unique like that. They live and the world lives with them.

We were created as vessels for war, fueled by the greed of the king that ordered our existence to life. He destroyed those that made us to keep others from being made and then tried to take our powers into himself. It didn't work.

I can't say that my existence could be special or that my experiences something that could be measured as being rewarding. The idea of having more of us is revolting, especially since there had been a few people that showed me how complex humanity could be. As for being valuable, I've been valued as an object before. It's not something I want again.

Learning how to value them is the hard part, considering. We were created to use humanity's greed, so it's what we see first.

I had found some. It's my nature to want to have more of the same.

That sounds like something stolen from out of a useful book of sayings or an American fortune cookie.

Maybe. We were fashioned off of the greed of others, and we can never be whole no matter how much of the world we devour.

I am a Greeed. We were created to always want. Though I suppose that has changed a little now that I'm suppose to be a god now.

I have only met two other humans who knew a taste of the hunger a Greeed has.

It had at one time. I am unsure at this moment.
