Hello. This is Midoriya Izuku for those of you who don't know me well. I've been talking with a few people, and it seems that while newly minted gods often get somebody to guide them through their arrival, shinki aren't so lucky.
I think it would be good if we could compile a resource for newly arrived shinki. There's no reason they need to be so confused upon their arrival.
As I'm not a shinki, I don't know everything that should go into it. Could those who are please say what they would have liked to know earlier?
Thank you for your time.

If you don't mind me asking, that is.

It's really disorienting, kind of coming to and not knowing where you are or who you should be listening to. They're telling you all these things about what a god will expect out of a shinki, but you don't even know what a god and shinki are to begin with. And then you walk away, trying to put it all together, and I think I latched onto a few of the major things they were trying to explain to us... there were specifics I definitely didn't catch at all, and had to be reminded about in the coming days and weeks. It was just too much all at once to focus on.

I think it would be easier if it was all in text. Then people can adjust to all of it at their own pace. That kind of assumes everybody can read Japanese though...

I think you're on to something with the written version. Maybe we can even give the Shinki's version to some of the gods! You know, printed out or linked to it, and that way the gods can help the shinki by reminding them late on their first night that if they still have questions, they can always read this thing you're working on.

I also hope we manage to cover most major points. There's a lot that needs to be said.

Or at least let people pick and choose what they want to know more about. Maybe you can even leave some of our names? I know I wouldn't mind it. "If you'd like to know more about what it's like to answer a prayer with a god, you can call Kairi at -this number-"

I guess spell practice? You know, Borderline training. Oh and how to use your phone, I've done that a few times for shinki who didn't even know what a lot of modern things were. That's like a whole class practically.

Well, I don't run those classes there, if that's what you mean. But yes I know Hakkai has a schedule and everything up. Math and reading and things like that.

For sure! I definitely didn't. I keep learning them as I come upon them.

It's harder when you don't start out while you're young.

Yeah, that makes sense too. That's some good advice to write down. Maybe I'll go do some of that right now. Good luck, Deku!

I'm not completely fluent in Korean, but I can translate Japanese into it and English if need be, Midoriya.

Hopefully, there'll be a few people who can help with that too.
