In a situation where it is a god that loses a shinki, then it would be best for the god to make arrangements to get ahold of another shinki until one is assigned one. A god needs protection just as much as a Shinki. I offer myself to be a temporary shinki until you find a more suitiable one. I have a few gods that could vouche for my work ethic, if you would like a resume.

[It isn't really a matter of him being an object to be shifted around but more like him being a team player. For the Team After all- everyone is on the same team here and if one falls behind then it is up to the othersf to make up the differences. ]

I would most certainly enjoy knowing a future employer before hand, it does highlight positive work ethics. Is there a certain dish you enjoy or a color you are partial too?

Cherish the note, I guess. But...I don't know other than that. I don't want to say "Just find another god" because that's harder than it sounds.

Maybe give yourself some time and then do your best in whatever you'd like to do whether it's finding another god or spending time making other kinds of bonds.

[Makoto doesn't know how to respond to these things. He's rarely on the receiving end of comfort. Normally, he's on the comforting side. But this was too big to just swallow like he normally did.

He had always been together with Haru. In life, in...death...

They couldn't even properly handle being a class apart in middle school. Now he didn't even know where Haru's spirit was and he was wracked with pain and fear and loss. It was as if Haru had died...all over again.]
