I would first like to take this opportunity to apologize to everyone for the troubles that I have caused. You do not deserve to suffer for my sake, but I have unknowingly put you all through so much despite that. I am very sorry to have worried you all and I promise that I will be kept very safe, so please put your minds at ease.

With that said, I find myself in a position of making a hard choice. As the Queen of the Heavens, it is up to me to ultimately decide our choices from this point forward. I feel that it is important to acknowledge what has happened here and try to fix the underlying problems that have caused the most recent fuss.

Before I make any decisions, though, I want to hear from all of you. You all fall under my jurisdiction as much as any of the Old Gods and I would hate to leave you out of my reasoning and choices. I fear that we have done that for too long already.

Please feel free to offer me your opinions and thoughts on how the insurgents should be sought out and handled and I will do my best to reply to you all. Again, I am sorry for what has transpired. I know my apologies mean little, but they are the most important things I can offer right now.

And thank you all. Especially to those who came to my aid in my time of need. I owe you all a huge debt of gratitude.

I'm very sorry if I implied that I thought of you all as beholden to me, that was not my intent. I just mean to say that I feel responsible for all of you, as you are in my lands.

It seems likely that they were responsible for the incident at the flower viewing as well. Everything seems to have happened in the same way - with a magically created fire rather than a naturally made one. I do not know who they might be, though.

I am glad to hear that, Amaterasu. However, to most people the title of "Queen" and a term like "jurisdiction" imply some kind of authority and power over people. As a Queen your words have power and however you mean them, people will interpret them in certain ways.

["I didn't mean that" isn't an acceptable excuse. Not for a queen, no matter her age. A forgivable error, maybe.]

Finding out who the insurgents are is obviously important. If you cannot get their names just yet, more information than "they exist and have access to fire magic" would also be useful. Right now they are in complete control over the information we have about them, which is not acceptable. There are those of us who have experience in matters such as this- some of them have volunteered advice and their services here. More direct action against the insurgents needs to be taken and I know many of us would like to be involved in that.

It also seems as though you need to [get off your ass and] learn more about your previous incarnation. Do your advisors and fellow gods really have the authority to deny you information about what she may have done to offend people?

I understand what you are saying. There are certainly better ways to put that I am beholden to all of you.

I had been hoping that someone might have encountered something about them outside of my realm of knowledge, but that appears to not be the case. Any expertise in the field of gathering information would be greatly appreciated, as I am completely incapable of the act myself.

I always felt that the information that has been kept from me was done so for my own good, and I still believe that is the case. But it has become clear to me that 'my good' compromises the 'good of others'. I am becoming more insistent with my demands of information, though I cannot say how successful I will be as my ability to be 'insistent' is not as honed as I would like for this task...
