why do gods get blight when their shinki get blight? thats not fair
is there some way to stop that cause i wanna fight without hurting mrick

[The post switches to voice a moment after because Goten isn't that good at writing but he wanted to be sure to get two gods attention. Writing was better for that right?]

Kairi is really strong and doing her best for you and everyone else you know! Shes the best exemplar ever so she should be exemplar! I don't wanna be an exemplar if she isn't one too! The exemplar thing is dumb if the best shinki is the first shinki a god gets! That's cheating!

[There's a small pause as Goten remembers something]

Oh! Oh and Roxas, Aymeric! Neither of you can get mad at Kairi! Yeah! She really helped me out a lot with that prayer and I'd be ayakashi food without her!

I can tell you want to help her, and that's great. Would it help if I talked to Roxas too? Maybe he forgot to tell her how special she is.

I thought the blight would only hurt me. Not Aymeric too and then Kairi and Roxas. I didn't have a god the last time I touched an ayakashi...

[The more you know. But that lesson came with a price and Kairi was probably in trouble with Roxas now. Goten doesn't want that.]

Do you think it would? Do you know him really well? I don't want him mad at Kairi cause it's my fault. But he does need to tell her how amazing she is! I donno what to do. I wanna help Kairi.

Then you guys both did really good if you learned. Now you know lots more about ayakashi and that you shouldn't go against them without your god with you to help.

Yep, Roxas is my special someone. And Kairi is my best friend in the entire world. I'll make sure Roxas tells her, okay? I think it'll help if you and me both try to remind Roxas.

Mmhm... I didn't think Aymeric would let me go cause I'm little though. But I'll ask next time. I don't wanna worry him or Kairi again.

[Kairi is his friend and Aymeric is super imporant too. He doesn't want him to disappear like his other gods. He just wants all his friends to be safe and happy.]

Special someone? What's that mean? Sora, you're friends with everyone huh?

That's great, Goten! Just be honest with Aymeric and I'm sure he will be with you too.

[Aymeric is a great god for Goten. Sora can't be happier for the little guy.

Ahhhh how to explain a boyfriend to a kid Goten's age? Maybe he'll leave that one up to Aymeric too.]

I just love Roxas a lot. And yeah! I have lots of friends, I guess! We're friends, right Goten?

Do you know him Sora? I haven't known him that long 'cause I got dropped off at his place after Bishamon's training. He's really nice and a good god--Maddragonra is the best too. I don't wanna lose either of them. Do you think prayers keep gods around? 'cause I wanna keep Aymeric around.

[He's lost two gods. He's not going to let Aymeric be next on that list. No way!

Oh, okay. He gets what love is. Kairi loves everybody to. Maybe Sora just loves everybody and Roxas just a bit more. Goten blinks at that last question though. It comes as a surprise.]

Y-Yeah! I mean, if that's okay! I thought of you of as a friend already! I wanna hang out more too. You're alotta fun, Sora. I wanna be---stay friends!

I do know him! Really well because he's my god-son! And don't worry, Aymeric's been here for almost as long as I have been. I think he'll be with you for a long, long time. I'm happy you two are together!

[He's also definitely not going to correct Goten's pronunciation of the cat's name because that pronunciation is so much better and cuter.

Also... Does this sort of make Goten his grandkid?]

Yeah!! You're a lot of fun too, Goten! I'm glad we're friends, let's hang out a lot!

God-son? What's that?

[As curious as he is about that first bit, its the second part that gets his attention so much more. If Aymeric has been here as long as Sora and Sora hasn't is dissappeared.... Then maybe, just maybe, Aymeric won't either. It makes Goten brighten up almost instantly]

You really, really think so? I'm glad! I wanna stay with Aymeric a really long, long time!

[If Sora thinks so, then it's gotta be true! And Sora keeps just making everything better]

YEAH! Me too! Thanks Sora! You're a really good friend!

His god name is Foresti, right? Well I'm Baldr. In our pantheon Baldr is Foresti's father! So that makes him my god-son! Even if he's much older than me.

[Truth be told, Aymeric treats him much more like a son than a father.]

He's the best god you can have! Has he shown you his metal moving powers yet?

[Goten's bright reaction makes him really happy.]

You are too! I'll show you my pets sometime, okay?!

Does he call you dad then?

[It's really weird to picture. He's trying really hard to imagine Sora and Aymeric standing next to each other and Aymeric greeting Sora with a big hug--that he has to lean down to get. Maybe even pick Sora up off the ground and going "Greetings father" in that Aymeric-like calm-soothing adult voice. Then Sora ruffling his "son's" hair all father-like.

It makes Goten laugh a little, but he does his best to muffle it.]

Not yet! I'll ask him about it though! I wanna see! I wanna your pets too! I really really do! I got to met Maddragonra here but I never met your pets. Are they cats too?

[Sora laughs out, not muffling his amusement at all.]

Nahh! I think it would be really super funny if he did though. Maybe I should try to convince him!

[He might not be Aymeric's real dad but they take care of each other like true family would.]

Just make sure you're not wearing any zippers! And right now I have a bunch of cats! Roxas and his shinki Senri brought a whole box of them home! But we also have one big mom cat named May. She's just like a goddess.

We do! Not just cats either. I've got a dream eater and my shinki has a puppy too. I'm pretty sure our temple is more like a zoo sometimes!
