i learned alot of stuff about shinki and blight
why do gods get blight when their shinki get blight? thats not fair
is there some way to stop that cause i wanna fight without hurting mrick

[The post switches to voice a moment after because Goten isn't that good at writing but he wanted to be sure to get two gods attention. Writing was better for that right?]

Kairi is really strong and doing her best for you and everyone else you know! Shes the best exemplar ever so she should be exemplar! I don't wanna be an exemplar if she isn't one too! The exemplar thing is dumb if the best shinki is the first shinki a god gets! That's cheating!

[There's a small pause as Goten remembers something]

Oh! Oh and Roxas, Aymeric! Neither of you can get mad at Kairi! Yeah! She really helped me out a lot with that prayer and I'd be ayakashi food without her!

I knew touching an ayakashi would blight me but when I grabbed it to slam it down, I didn't think that blight would reach Aymeric too...and everyone else. That's what's bad. I got it washed off super fast but I don't like that it hurt them too.

All it means is that you'll have to be more careful next time. Whatever a shinki does can affect their god, but once you know the risks, you'll be better prepared for it next time. You shouldn't get too upset over this. Kairi, along with your gods, are all okay now. Just be sure to use some precaution the next time you decide to fight an ayakashi.

Why do gods have to feel everything though?

[That earns a chuckle from Izumo.]

But will you remember to wear the gloves?

[There's a brief pause, barely lasting a second or so before:]

Gods are connected to their shinki, aren't they? With that kind of connection, it's only natural for them to feel whatever happens.

I'll do my best to remember....or use my sleeves or something. I don't wanna hurt Aymeric just cause I get blight on me. I'm not use to having a god but I know better now.

[He's determined too anyway. ]

Not being used to having a god can be a good reason, but even if you don't have a god, you should also avoid getting yourself blighted.

I'm a shinki, and you can just call me Izumo instead of mister.

I know blight is bad but as long as you wash it off super fast with holy water it goes away.

[He repeats the name, just to be sure he can say it right.]

I thought for sure you were a god cause you sure seem to know a lot. I betcha you been here for awhile then, huh?

It might be a good idea carrying some holy water in that case.

[There's a hint of amusement in his tone, but he doesn't stick to it very long.]

Just some few months. [He has interesting ways of getting information.] But you learn some things while you're in this place.

Holy water and gloves. Got it.

[He's cheering up a bit. But geez, this is going to end up being a lot to carry if they add any more to the list. He can't remember all of it. Not when he's on the go.]

Shinki has powers that aren't exclusive to their shink form. [Really, it's hard to tell something useful and interesting to a kid who's a shinki and might've figured some things out by now.]

I currently own and run a bar.

All shinki do?

[You've perked his interest Izumo, good job there. Goten knows of some strange powers of his own but he isn't sure if it's because he's a shinki or not.]

I donno anyone else that does that. So you're a shinki and you got a job! I donno if I could do something like that. Is it hard to run a bar?

I'm not sure if all shinki do, but I have seen some shinki use powers that they're able to freely use.

[Like Izumo and his fire.]

It can be, but I don't mind it. I enjoy working at a bar, after all.

Mmm....I can do stuff too but I donno if it's cause I'm a shinki. I've seen gods do power stuff too.

[He's not sure what exactly a bar is. But it's gotta be some kind of shop or store--or even better; a place to eat!]

If it gets hard you should get some people to help you! Maybe they would like it too. Then you could have the bestest bar ever.

If you think it's not because you're a shinki, then just test it out again to see what'll happen. But I think there are some powers that each god and shinki has that is their own.

[He chuckles.]

Thank you, Goten. I do have some people already working, so it's not too difficult. [A pause.] If you ever want to stop by, I can always give you something to eat whenever you're feeling hungry.

[He's not entirely wrong about it being a place to eat.]

[He blinks slowly. He doesn't really understand what Izumo is saying.]

Huh? But I am a shinki, I can't change that! I mean, I haven't met another shinki that can fly and stuff...

[How does he test that out? Wait...]

Izumo! Do you have any cool powers that you can do? I wanna see!

[---but then there's the offer of food too he can't pass up. Can he have both? Food and a show? Izumo is just climbing up the cool list. It's been one heck of a day but Goten has never been one to lose his appetite.]

REALLY?!

[He can't help but ask LOUDLY. Face obviously getting closer to the device. Food, food, food~! Aymeric feeds him and all but he's never one to turn down a meal!]

[Ah.]

I wouldn't call it 'cool'. [But he's not. Denying it either?

He is slightly surprised when Goten suddenly sounds so excited.]

Yes, really. [There's a dread that he might've bitten off more than he could chew with Goten.]

So...you got a boring power?

[That's all he's getting from that. But is there such a thing? Goten can't even think of a boring power.]

Where's your bar? [You sealed this deal. He may not be able to go out today but as soon as things cool down, he's going to take Izumo up on it and then some!]
