i learned alot of stuff about shinki and blight
why do gods get blight when their shinki get blight? thats not fair
is there some way to stop that cause i wanna fight without hurting mrick

[The post switches to voice a moment after because Goten isn't that good at writing but he wanted to be sure to get two gods attention. Writing was better for that right?]

Kairi is really strong and doing her best for you and everyone else you know! Shes the best exemplar ever so she should be exemplar! I don't wanna be an exemplar if she isn't one too! The exemplar thing is dumb if the best shinki is the first shinki a god gets! That's cheating!

[There's a small pause as Goten remembers something]

Oh! Oh and Roxas, Aymeric! Neither of you can get mad at Kairi! Yeah! She really helped me out a lot with that prayer and I'd be ayakashi food without her!

[Great. At this rate Kairi is going to come home crying. Thanks, Goten.]

Every god who's named you will always get blighted when you do that! Even when you feel bad they get blighted!

[This is literally the first time one of his shinki has blighted him that weren't Axel going ayakashi.]

Bishamon is one of the old gods. She can do whatever she wants, but I want to be fair to all of my shinki. They're all exemplars in their own way!

[Sorry Kairi, he hasn't heard you.]

[He's sorry but he's trying to help! His steam is gone now that he's heard Kairi's voice cut in. Of course she would hear and see this.]

I didn't have a god when I got blighted before so I didn't know that it would do that...

[He takes a deep breath and tries again. Sorry Kairi] B-but Kairi helped me a lot and I wouldn't of been able to do it without her. I just want her to know she's a good shinki cause she is. But cause you're her god your words matter more! Do your shinki all know they're exemplars in their own way?

[Ugh how is he not able to stay mad at Goten? Probably because he was a kid who didn't know better.]

Well, now you know... be more careful next time and just run away!

[... he lets out a very soft sigh.] I didn't think I had to. I told Kairi that she was helpful and good as she was... I guess she's still hung up on the exemplar thing.

But i had to finish the prayer! We did end up running away so I donno if those ayakashi are out now..

[Goten blinks slowly. Well at least they're not yelling at each other anymore. Yelling at Roxas across the network probably wasn't the best idea but he didn't know his number so...]

I think she wants to be the best shinki she can be and make you proud. That's what I wanna do for Aymeric too. Kairi is really good though.

The call your god next time. He was probably worried you weren't going to come home if he got stung badly... We get stung as bad as you do when you touch and ayakashi.

[One day Roxas needs to teach you how to spell his name correctly.]

But... I am proud of her. Why wouldn't I be?

I didn't know that.... Kairi told me after. I thought the blight would only hurt me and I needed to stop the ayakashi cause the second one was gonna come. B-But then it hurt Aymeric and Kairi and you...I wanted to do a prayer so maybe it would Aymeric here longer.

[His voice starts to strain at that. He was fine with getting blight on himself. It hurt a lot but it could be washed off. But the fact that this one blight effected so many people. People he really cares about...he feels awful about it. He sniffles a bit, grunting softly as he wipes his eyes.]

I donno you need to tell her that more. She does her best and is really amazing. I wanna be as good as her and Yukine.

... I don't think Aymeric is gonna leave just because of something like that. Gods just... they leave. They don't want to go anywhere, but sometimes the world says they have to go. Aymeric has been here a while. You'll be fine.

[It's only a partial truth. Roxas knows not to expect anyone to stay here forever.]

I know she is. She's amazing in her own way, and so are Raichi and Senri. If I only had one shinki, then she'd be my exemplar. [Thinking...] It's like if I was a parent. Do you think it's fair to pick a favorite kid?

But that's not fair! I don't want anyone to disappear. Aymeric, Sharak or you....

[The list goes on and on really. But he's worn out. He knows them and that's what counts. If there was just a way to keep everyone from disappearing.]

I don't care what the world says. There's gotta be a way...

[Goten huffs. Impossible mission or not.]

No, but It's not picking a favorite...

[Roxas voice drops low, and there's sadness in it.]

I know... A lot of friends of mine are gone now. I don't want them leaving either.

[He swallows hard before letting out a soft laugh.]

To me it is. It's like picking a favorite color when all the colors are perfect. Picking a favorite food when everything tastes good. That sorta thing.
