In a weird sort of way, I almost envy you. Having memories of a life and a home I cannot reach anymore is a constant frustration.

Yeah, it's a mixed bag but you got to find some good in it or you're just going to go insane wondering. Sorry about your deal. Can gods not go visit or something?

I'm sure some can. I am not from the world. I've looked very closely at a lot of maps and found nothing familiar.

Are there any foods back home you miss? Something that might be similar to local stuff?

Are you a cook?

Sort of? I like to cook and can hold my own at most food stands. Also, I met someone who takes a lot of pride in being a chef so if I can't figure it out I'm sure I can get him to help.

My cooking talents run more along the lines of "kill something and put it over a campfire," but the skills of a good cook are not to be dismissed idly.

I think mine are more along the lines of, "fend for yourself in a kitchen" than any real talent. Maybe I was a bachelor in life.

I think it's to both our benefits to focus on THIS life, rather than worrying about where we came from.

[Not strictly true, but Leona had a feeling that nothing good would come from shinki worrying about where they came from.]

But...some good roast mutton is hard to beat.
