[ The video opens to Nanako sprawled on her stomach, kicking her feet in the air behind her but her expression is one of serious thought. Although she looks a little shy and uncertain about leaving a message like this, she also looks pretty determined, too. This... hadn't been something she was sure about asking her big brother, so instead she tries here. Maybe that will be easier? Or people will be less quick to guess why she might be asking... ]

Sooo.... this is heaven, right? And where people go after they die?

If someone died a while ago, can you find them here somewhere?

[ Nanako, please don't be sad for her, because as far as Lux was concerned, she was lucky. Yes, she died. No, she couldn't remember her former life, which was... an adjustment that she was forcing herself to cope with despite stroll struggling with where she fit in and the thought of losing something important. She hardly ever thought of it now.

So please, if you're going to make that kind of face, let it be for someone who is sad, or struggling with the current state of things. Although it does get the girl a somewhat fond, soft sort of natural smile in return. You really were a good kid, weren't you? ]

[ At the mention of her brother, her face lights up a bit more. ]

I live with him at his temple. And with his shinki, too. He's the best.

[After that bit of bluntness, he changes tone. He wanted that to be clear, but he adds, in a softer tone:]

One of the ways gods and mortals are the same is their lives are governed by chance. It's just good luck to meet the people you love, and Zeno thinks that sort of luck applies to meeting them again, too. It's not something gods control...

Zeno would say, definitely, keep looking! But Zeno would also say, don't look so hard you see past the people already here, but you already are smart enough not to do that, it sounds like.

[ Well, at least she has her big brother around, so he doesn't have to worry about her being all alone in this place. Though she did mention the fact that she has a shinki, which means- ]

You're a god?! Uh, goddess, I mean.

[ They'd even pick kids up for that role? ]

[ But she's so little. He knows appearances can sometimes be deceiving, but this is too much. He also wonders what it says about being a god or goddess if even a small kid can do it. ]

[ She answers with an earnestness that's perhaps uncharacteristic of a six-year-old, but it's clear she's taking the warning seriously. She gives him a shy smile. ]

Thank you, Zeno. I'll be careful. And I'll still be happy, even if I don't find her. Promise!

[ She nods at the first question, but hesitates over the second. ]

Not yet. I don't know what my powers are yet.

[ She hesitates before giving a quiet sigh. ]

My mom. I thought she might be here.

Sort of. But you can just call me Noctis.

[ A lot nicer sounding than 'Anu,' that's for sure. ]

And yeah powers aren't the kind of thing you want to mess around with. Do you have someone to train you? Another god with more experience?

[ He'd offer himself, but he honestly has no idea what he's doing either. ]

[ She can't really argue with that, although she finds most of the god names pretty strange. ]

Weeeell. Sorta. But everyone says I gotta figure out what my powers are on my own first, since it's different for everyone. Once I do, then I think I can start learning more about it. But that's not very easy...

[ Lix smiled brightly then, trying to make her note-taking as discrete as possible. Most of this was to help aid the younger girl on her mission, but at the same time...

Her cousin was here as well. That seemed odd. Maybe it would be a good idea to learn as much about this girl as possible, to figure out if there was some sort of reason why certain people were being brought here to replace those missing gods. ]

[ That surprised her. Wasn't every god supposed to have their own domain, and thus their own space? Or was it because she was so young? Living (relatively) on her own must have been a hardship, after all. ]

You don't have your own temple, Nanako? What about your shinki?

There are training dummies around you can practice on. Saw some in that place we were in not too long ago. And if you need a live dummy, you can always borrow my shinki.

[ Not the first time he's offered to loan Prompto out since he arrived. He's useful for these sort of things. Besides, Prompto loves kids and would probably be happy to help out on his own accord. ]

Well, Tot thought you were supposed to reincarnate after you die, so there wouldn't be a lot of room needed.

[ Nanako hums, because if she does, she hasn't found it yet. ]

I don't think so. But my shinki lives here, too! Onii-chan's house is really big, so there's lots of room.

I tried using the training dummies when we were all together to practice buuuut... [ She sighs. ] I don't really know how to fight at all. And even when I focused I couldn't figure out any other powers either. Nothing happened.

[ Maybe Nanako's shown up too late and missed her then?

I'm not sure anyone knows the answer, then. I guess being a god doesn't fix that either, huh?

Ah, but no matter. Her smile smooths over quickly. ]

It's great that you can stay with family and still have your shinki with you. I imagine that makes it easier to be away from home. That must be hard; you're a very brave girl, Nanako.

It's kind of hard if you're not used to it. Took me a while to learn to do a lot of things, too, so don't sweat it. We'll practice with you when you want.
