I do not think this is the time for beach parties. Half of us cannot remember who we are. Those of us who know a shinki's past could kill them with a single word, without ever meaning for them to come to harm. This should not be accepted as normal without so much as an explanation as to why it is necessary.

What reason could there possibly be to strip someone of all memory?

Why does nobody seem to know what is going on?

If only it were that simple. If they trusted any of us in the first place, there would be no need for secrets.

That just makes matters worse. Why give a person you could not trust this kind of power over anyone? Why trust us with the power, but not with the reason for bestowing it?

Simply more questions we'll have to find our own answers to. Whoever decided to bestow such powers might have a larger agenda in mind.

That is another thing that is concerning me. How can we be sure that by doing what is expected of us, we are doing the right thing?

I suppose there is no way to tell.

We can only wait and see what'll happen next in the meantime.

I only hope it is something less everyday than it was before. I feel that it is then, when everything seems peaceful, that we are most likely to forget why we are here.
