I do not think this is the time for beach parties. Half of us cannot remember who we are. Those of us who know a shinki's past could kill them with a single word, without ever meaning for them to come to harm. This should not be accepted as normal without so much as an explanation as to why it is necessary.
What reason could there possibly be to strip someone of all memory?
Why does nobody seem to know what is going on?

I - harmed a friend of mine by sharing too much of what I knew of him. All I mentioned was his name and, when he asked, that he had been the one to tell me it, but that was enough. Sharing a shinki's past can do... unfathomable things. I know that as well as anyone, but it was only too easy for me to forget, at the sight of a good friend.
