[He is so mad. So very, very mad right now. He doesn't remember how much he loved books beforehand, but he does know that he has all of two personal belonging here - his satchel and his feather hairpiece. That means anything not nailed down, he doesn't mind taking. He found those books, that made them his.

Until the goblins came.

He had the sense to go back to bed after they woke him up in the middle of the night, but he can most certainly scream while preparing breakfast.]

Of all the things to jump into my bed in the middle of the night and take from me... Books? Not even books that teach you fundamental skills! Puff the Magic Dragon, a children's book, clearly; The Giving Tree, which is also more art than words and not even diagrams; and some kind of book that actually had pieces that jumped up at me off the page.

The books were lying on the ground! Clearly whoever lost them didn't care that much about them! So I picked them up and brought them to my god's temple! What was wrong about that?!

If anyone has books that they don't want anymore, I will gladly take them off your hands instead of throwing them on the ground!

Yeah, I picked up a god who couldn't take care of himself because I know how to bandage wounds. It seemed for the best.

His name is Itsu-papa-lotaru if you see him around.

[ ....There is no way she's ever going to remember that name. How do you remember that name? ]

I'm glad he's okay, though!

[Very, very dedicated practice to learn that name.]

Itsu's probably good enough for him. Itsu-papa sounds like something you'd call your father and he's not really that type.

[ At least that was easier than the whole thing. She could probably manage that much. ]

He's still recovering. I didn't want to bother him with it, since these were my personal things stolen, not like it was anything from his temple.

But he's your god! It's not a bother if there's something you're upset about! He should know.

[But Yoon calms down. Nanako's trying to help.]

He can't help if he's still laid up in bed, in and out of consciousness. I'll... try to remember to tell him when I'm convinced he's well.

[ Oh no, that doesn't sound good at all. This is a different case from CHikusa's argument, who thought he wasn't supposed to bother his god at all. ]

Can I help? Or I can bring my big brother over? He's really good at solving mysteries and stopping bad things from happening.

He's not as sick, sorry for worrying you! He wasn't hardly awake at all before, but now he's awake very often. Don't worry, I'm taking care of him.

[He's fended off earnest worriers before but not often so it's still not natural for him. He reassurances are still very clunky.]

[ She doesn't look convinced. ]

But you just said he was unconscious! Should he... go to the hospital?

[ She's hesitant about that, because she hates that place, but that is where you're supposed to go when you're hurt bad. ]

He's not unconscious anymore. Sorry for worrying you. Sometimes it happens for a few minutes at a time. I don't know what a hospital is, I think I remember hearing it my first day, but I'm watching over him. I'm not going to let him get worse - he's actually gotten much better, trust me.

[Even if he's not at all sure why she's this concerned about him.]

[ That still doesn't sound all that good, Yoon. ]

A hospital is where people go when they're real sick or need a doctor to look after them or get them important medicine. You go there when you can't get better at home.

[ Although there's the slightest quaver in her voice as she explains that, still looking troubled. ]

I'm glad he's getting better, though. I bet he's really happy to have someone like you to look after him, too!
