Hi, the name's Lavi, and I've got a question for all of you.

Being new here, it's come to my understanding that there are gods here from different mythology and I'm curious as to know which gods are currently active. At the same time, if anyone wants to answer, if there are gods here who has earned ["taken"] the name from a former god that was once here. I figured it'd be easier to keep track of all of the gods here in this place, to see who's who, since people seem to come and go in this place at random intervals.

At the same time, I understand if no one is willing to come forthright about this kind of information.

I've been the god I am since I got here.
I don't know about any gods that have left and someone else took their place, but it's possible.
I saw on the network a while ago that there was a shinki who died and came back as a god.

Hermes tried to do a census on the gods in our pantheon, but he left before it was complete.

There are a lot of books here that can help with learning more about gods. Most of them are commonly known, particularly from the Greek mythology.

[Aphrodite? This means this person is the shinki Artemis mentioned earlier.]

Shiva is the Hindu god of destruction, commonly known as 'the Destroyer'.

That's who Shiva is, but it can be just a title given to him. I'm not quite sure how it works when gods are chosen.

There are many gods and goddesses out there, so it can't be definite if there's a replacement.

Nope. All of them want the same thing and use shinki to get there, both more than the others I'd watch the old gods. They're a prideful bunch.

Self-interest. It's a bit of a personal object since the library only offers so much information about these things.
