Hey - so this temple.

[Doku has the camera aimed away from himself and it's a bit lopsided, but the place looks abandoned. It's not a very large temple, besides. He's at least learned that taking video means he doesn't have to text, so there's that.]

Any gods live here? Askin' 'cuz there's Soulless shinki around here and that seems like it. Just them.

[Apparently this is where Soulless shinki reside until they're assigned to a God.]

How many of them are there? Have you tried asking any of them who their god is?

There's about a dozen by the looks of it. They're as uninterested in talking to me as Meji normally is - that's the Soulkess shinki I got assigned. Maybe they have one and don't want to talk to me because I'm not who they're assigned to?

Actually she is - she's the one I was looking for when I found this place.

I was hoping to invite her back with Meji and I, but we'll see how interested she is in it.

Maybe. They tend to answer more effectively if you use their names to address them.

At least they have somewhere to go afterwards. There's someone I know who'd probably appreciate knowing if his previous one is there, but I don't know any identifying features, so I can't ask that anyway.

Do Soulless shinki have names before their god names them though? I can't go around naming all of them... can I?

If that place is reasonably easy to find, I can probably find it myself and take him there if he's interested. I'll ask him another time.

I suppose there are a few of us who have taken them on for a while, so that's not a surprise. As long as they're not trying to cram some ridiculous amount into a temple together.

Do you know that for sure? Maybe it works differently here! I mean, shinki are kind of ghosts. Not the scary kind, but still kind of ghosts, right?

I don't think anyone does, honestly. I haven't been to a lot of other temples, but this one looks abandoned - like the soulless are the only one who live here and they don't exactly roam much.

And a couple of them aren't wearing much - like a pair of shorts and that's it on one. No name that I could see.

Give me a second and I'll show you a video a bit further out so you can find it yourself. I don't think they're cramming a bunch in here particularly. I just think some of them sleep in beds and others have empty beds but they're not sleeping there - or just not often.

[Then he backs up and scans the area for Shun, then turns around where he came from.]

...Strange… I wonder what would happen if you moved all the shinki elsewhere…. Would more fill their place or would they just return…?
