I have a question for the shinki among us.

How important to you is your connection to your god?

If you could go without a name, and not worry about your safety or a place to stay, would you prefer to?

That's how I feel, too.

But it's hard to say whether that's just my personality! Some of us seem not to have that feeling.

To feel uneasy without having someone to serve?

Yes, I certainly think so.

I guess that means there's something we did in life that made us this way. I don't want to think about it but I sorta want to rebel against it.

But if you do that, you'll just make yourself uneasy for no good reason.

Whoever left you with that feeling in life, they're not going to know or care if you rebel against it after death.

Yeah but there's no real reason I have to be this way, right? New start and all that.

That's true.

I've chosen to accept what I am, personally. Without knowing why I am this way, I don't know which parts might once have been precious to me. Even the most pathetic ones might have mattered once.

I tried making this a new life, once, though, too. It's up to you.

I think I'm going to try the new life thing. Maybe meet someone nice to help distract me. Also learn how this magic thing works.
