I have a question for the shinki among us.

How important to you is your connection to your god?

If you could go without a name, and not worry about your safety or a place to stay, would you prefer to?

We're not real shinki, and our gods mostly aren't real gods. I don't know who's responsible yet, but just as we appear without explanation, we disappear, too.

So it isn't likely to matter what you teach your god.

Do you think that what happened at the festival could be a trail?

The soul of my first goddess was trapped in one of the bodies there... so yes.

Before it all happened, someone besides me was able to tell that souls were trapped inside of the corpses. I'm not sure how useful that would be in the aftermath however.

Who was it?

I know of a few gods who can follow psychic trails. I believe one of them is gone now, and another needs something to use for tracking, but it may be worth an attempt.

Young woman. Not too much older than me, I think. Short hair, slightly wavy, orange-brown in shade. Gold-brown eyes.
