[ The video turns on showing nothing but stark pink. It takes a few moments for the camera to zoom out to an armoured soldier, pretty in pink. ]

---use this ancient technology. Wait. Is it working?

[ The camera shakes a little as Donut adjusts the device. In the background, a loud whistle can be heard as the video captures a bird-like ayakashi striking at an invisible wall behind him - his energy shield - while Donut safely makes the call from inside. ]

Hey guys. [His visor shifts behind him taking a look at his little pest before turning back to the camera. ] I would really appreciate it if someone came and killed this thing. I think I made it angry and I kind of lost my shin-- [ Light suddenly explodes as the ayakashi unleashes an attack that gets absorbed by the shield dispersing it across the dome in a shower of light. ]

Hey! I'm on a call here. Don't be rude! [ The pink helmet turns back to the camera. ] Like I was saying, I could really use some help.

[ And with that the recording ends along with the light-show. ]

[OOC: For anyone willing to help.... he's kind of lost so don't expect good or for that matter any kind of directions >_> ]

[Roxas yelps, clinging for dear life. PLEASE PUT HIM DOWN!!!]

Y-Yeah!

[Kairi's been spun around before, but never in vessel form, so she's starting to get a bit queasy from the new sensation.]

'Uh, Roxas...? Can I...? Please.'

[He might be able to tell from her voice that she's not at 100%]

[Oh no oh no oh no Can gloves get sick? No waiting to find out!]

Sorry, Kairi!

[At least only one of them will be feeling awkward in the arms of an armored man.]

[ Donut, obviously can't hear her so he keeps spinning! ]

[A bit of white light later, Roxas has no gloves and Kairi is standing next to Roxas - and then she's still a bit woozy and bobbles a bit, eventually getting both legs splayed a bit and arms out to find her balance.]

Oh wow...

[Deep breaths.]

[Meanwhile Roxas has just gone limp like a ragdoll cat, waiting for Donut to put him down. What even is happening still, why is Donut so happy???? It was just an ayakashi that needed slaying.]

[ The bright light catches his attention and Donut sets Roxas down in favor of crowding the young shinki. ]

Oh! So you're a shinki. Where did you get that awesome necklace? The sparkle really catches your eye!

[Her stomach is finally settling down when Donut gets in her face.]

I... don't know where I got it... because I'm a shinki.

[She reaches over to hold Roxas by the shoulders. It'll help steady her as much as him.]

Are you okay?

[Roxas appreciates the help. His stomach is reeling from all that.]

No... I'm so glad I didn't eat anything...

[Else he'd have been sick by now..]

[ Oh... ]

My bad. I totally forgot. Man, it's so hard being responsible for others. I don't know how Sarge does it.

Well, thanks you guys. You totally helped me out there. I had no idea what to do when that bird attacked me. There I was minding my own business, skipping along the road singing the best rendition of "Intoxicated" when it just swooped down and tried to take an arm off. I know I look hideous in this light red armor and all but you don't have to go rip off a guys arm for that! I mean, it's not like was singing in the rain - which I totally do whenever there's a good down pour going on - but even so that's a little over the top. And to make things worse, they were super rude! Kept interrupting all of my calls with its constant screeching and head-on collisions with my shield. Like, I know you've got this whole super deadly ayakashi look going on for you but save it for the actual battle. God, some birds are all squawk and little substance.

Anyways, thanks a lot guys! I couldn't have done it without you. I'm totally calling you up next time.

[ Kairi has known babblers but she's kind of thinking that maybe she just met the God of Babbling.

There's several points at which she thinks he may be done talking and starts to speak again, since most of her wooziness was due to the proximity of the ayakashi, even if she doesn't realize it. She hasn't built up a tolerance for it yet.

So if there's a couple of Uhm's, Uh's, Well's, and Okay's sprinkled into Donut's speech, it's probably Kairi. ]

[ She lets go of Roxas from a physically holding him up standpoint and tries to see if they can get by with just her hand on his shoulder. ]

Do they not explain how to fight an ayakashi to new gods now...?

[ She gives Roxas a sideways glance because 'now' is the operative word. Clearly he managed just fine and he didn't have a suit of armor either. ]

[At least his head isn't feeling like it's bouncing around anymore. Roxas still winces as he shakes his head.]

Yes and no. I didn't learn much about it when I first got here so I learned a lot from the gods who got here before me. The Heavens just said we needed to purify them...

Hey.

[ He feels like he needs to defend himself. ]

I can beat off a room full of guys, no problem, but I can't beat off an ayakashi without my shinki!

[ And now he feels like he needs to defend the Medicine Seller. ]

It's not Hakari's fault either, since I wanted to go shopping all on my own.

[She thinks about what the guy says. Are Gods really helpless without their shinki? That does seem like a word she can apply to Roxas. Donut, maybe... although he did reach out for help in the end, so not totally helpless.]

And the Rend spell counts as... purification?

[That seems a pretty loose interpretation - and a little optimistic for destroying creatures, evil or not.]

Which you can only cast with a Shinki in hand?

Rending them is the only way to purify them as far as I know. And yeah, you need a shinki to do it.

[Hm. Now that he has a better chance to look Donut's armor. It really is pink. Very pink.]

Throwing holy water on them hurts them, or with bigger ones, just makes them mad.

[Can Roxas poke it or would it be rude to do so?]

Well, I sure am glad that wasn't a bigger one. I don't know what I would have done if my grenades didn't work either. It's bad enough my guns don't work, it'd be awful if I couldn't blow things up either. And I'm sure Sarge would be super mad at me if I didn't keep up my aim. But I bet he'd be super happy that I can put up a perimeter now. He gets pretty mad when I let the enemy through back in Blood Gulch, speaking of which, I better get home. I bet Hakari is super worried I haven't started dinner yet. I wouldn't want to keep him waiting otherwise he might run off again.

[ He puts out a hand to them meaning to shake hands. ]

It was nice working with you both, we should do it again!

[Kairi gives Roxas a truly lost look, before finally holding up a hand to whisper in his ear.]

Should we tell him? Or let him leave?

[He seems lost in so very many ways and no matter who it is, she'd feel bad that he go wandering off looking for this 'Blood Gulch' place, only to realize he's not at his home. He's far too out of place to be from around Japan, in her limited opinion.]

[Roxas just shakes his head a bit before taking Donut's hand and shaking it.]

You're not too tired or anything, right? Do you need help teleporting back or anything?

[This is mostly to alleviate Kairi's fears. He's sure Donut is fine and just reminiscing. Hopefully.]
