[The video feed clicks on to show Goten's face way closer up then it needs to be. He squints a bit at the screen as if trying to figure out if it's working or not. When he does lean back, there's no greenery or buildings behind him, just a vast blue sky dotted with clouds. It's easier to show everything from a bird's eye view, or at least he thinks so. For once the boy isn't grinning from ear to ear. He's much too confused and concerned right now.]

I think it's working....

Um, can temples just disappear? I can't find Archie anywhere either. All that's left are me and my new cloud friend here.

[He angles the video down to show the fluffy bright-yellow cloud he's sitting on. The cloud almost seems to bounce up in greeting. The video moves to look past the cloud and down far below at an nearly untouched beach with a cliff side. For anyone that had ever found or seen it, Dakuwaqa's temple has vanished.]

D-does that happen a lot? Where does everything go? I've looked all over...

[He already knows the god isn't around, that or he magically picked up and cleaned house. The name that was on his right hand is gone too so...His voice strengthens as he takes a deep breath and flips the camera back to his face in a sudden motion, frowning and trying to glare. He really is upset about this. He's hoping maybe the shark god just took his teasing or trick too far this time.]

Arrrrrrrrrrchie! You better answer me! If you're trying to play a trick on me I won't forgive you. You hear me! This isn't funny!

[Selfish or not, it's how he feels. If he knew that Archie was somewhere better or back home for sure then maybe he'd be a little more relaxed about it.

He's tailing along on the beach when Hibiki finds him. The bright yellow cloud still floating next to him, bouncing up every now and then like it's eager to go shooting for the sky. The cloud is almost as big as Goten but then again, the boy is only 4 feet tall minus his spiky hair.

He blinks, perking at Hibiki as he looks up at him]

Yeah....It used to be in the cliff side.

[He points over to the cliff, it almost looks untouched now. It's then he remembers manners and turns to Hibiki. He puts his hands together and bows, since thats what comes naturally to him.]

Um, it's nice to meet you---![Miss...? Maybe sir? He can't tell!]

I'm Goten.

[From where they're both standing now, it becomes clear that any further inspection would be pointless—there's no trace of a temple on said cliff...actually, it looks like nobody has even been there. Not to mention that it might be dangerous to stay here completely alone. However, Hibiki perfectly understands that reasoning may not get through to Goten. Somehow, he just understands.]

The scenery is truly exquisite...

[When it comes to introductions, Hibiki is quick to follow and bows in a similar manner.]

It's nice to meet you too, I'm Hibiki. And this is your cloud friend, I suppose...?

[Should he bow to it as well? After a short struggle, he does it anyway, even though it feels weird to greet a cloud.]

Exquisite...?

[He repeats the word curiously, looking around the beach. Considering he already said the beach was wonderful it must be a good thing, right?

Goten stands upright and smiles to Hibiki.]

Yeah. I donno what it's name is or if it has one but it's been sticking with me ever since it showed up in the temple.

[The cloud floats there, bouncing up once.]

Oh, what I meant was that it's a really beautiful beach.

[Maybe he should've said it like this in the first place.

From what Goten has just said, it seems that someone (something?) has been taking care of him, thankfully.]

I suggest naming it, if I may. It reminds me of a pet in some way...

Oh! Ooooh! Yeah, it is a really nice beach huh? I really liked living here but I can still stop by whenever.

[He glances over to the cloud thoughtfully.] I guess so....I'll have to think of it for awhile. Make sure its a name it likes to!

[There's a brief thoughtful pause as an idea comes to mind]

Hey Hibiki wanna try to ride on it too? Maybe it'll let other people too?

You sure can. Just don't stay here for too long completely alone.

[Technically, with the cloud following him, he won't be alone anywhere he goes, but...]

Of course, take your time. Choosing a proper name is important, after all.

[Goten's offer, though...now, that's surprising.]

Ride it? [Discreetly eyeing it up.] I wonder if it's a good idea, I mean...aren't I too, well, big?

I won't. Besides, you're here with me now so I'm not alone right now.

[Goten grins up at him. He gets what Hibiki means though. To be fair, he longer he's stayed on the beach, the more everything has really started to set it.]

I donno. I haven't seen anyone else try!

[He reaches up, patting the yellow cloud.]

Never know until you try.

Well, that's right...

[He's still pondering whether it's a good idea, to take up Goten's offer, that is. Probably not, but...]

I shall try, in that case.

[How does one mount a cloud, though? Hibiki tries to approach it, but he's not sure what to do next, honestly.]

[Goten perks at that pats the yellow cloud again, it seems to get the hint without being told and lowers a bit so it's easier for Hibiki to climb on. It's unknown to Goten but the only requirement that keeps a person from falling through the cloud is they they have to have a pure heart. So no malice intents, lustful thoughts ect. ect.]

Just hop on!

[If empty counts as some form of pureness, then he should be fine...!]

Alright.

[With his hands placed on the cloud (he still doesn't entirely believe it, even though it's happening in front of his eyes), he pulls himself up swiftly, hoping that he won't end up on the ground in a second or two.]

[Goten watches him eagerly and once Hibiki is sitting on the cloud and not falling through, his hands instantly shoot into the air in excitement.]

You did it! See? [Goten's smile just grows, clearly pleased.]

Wanna go for a ride? I'll catch you if you fall off!

[Hibiki gives him a glance that says it all: Goten, you're too good for this world.]

You don't have an opportunity to ride a cloud every day. In other words...yes, I'd like to. Just...please don't try to catch me if things come to worst. I don't want to hurt you.

[In the meanwhile, he rests down on the cloud comfortably and gently caresses it (which is also an unusual experience).]

[Goten blinks at that, smile never leaving his lips]

You won't hurt me, Hibiki! Don't worry about that but we'll make sure you don't fall off either. We won't go super fast, okay?

[Goten bounces off the ground, floating a little above the taller boy and cloud. The yellow cloud seems to bounce a bit, either to shoew it's own eagerness or in reponse to the petting it's getting. ]

Let's go!

[Goten flips around, shooting off into the sky. The cloud takes off after him. Once they're above cloud level, looking over the entire beach and sea, it slows just a bit next to Goten.]

[Just before they take off, a single thought crosses Hibiki's mind. Namely, what if I have a fear of heights I don't know about. Well, given that he doesn't remember anything about his past, that possibility can't be ruled out, but—

Oh, they're already up high. However, he doesn't feel fear or any negative emotions really, just looks down in amazement.]

I wouldn't have thought that it could fly that high!

[Hibiki's shouting since he doesn't believe that his usual voice would get through all the whooshes.]
