[ Why did he check his phone first thing when he woke up? Ugh... If Goku is in earshot, he might hear the dull thump of something hitting the ground from a height.

[Goku is within earshot, actually! And it's that thump that gets his attention. He's slowly learning this weird thing. Phone. Whatever it is. But weird noises are more interesting than weird little plastic squares that let you talk to people. Which is cool! But not suspicious.

He tracks it down eventually, and oh, hey, he's awake.]

Uh, are you okay...? You slept for forever.

[piphilologize]

[ Sprawled at the foot of his heap, Sho looks up from his phone with a distinctly grouchy expression on his face. ]

Zetta duh. Use your eyes.

[ Then again, a visual inspection probably doesn't do him any favors. Hair sticking up in every which direction, down to tattered jeans and his boots- he's a disheveled sight.

He kicks off one of his boots roughly in Goku's direction. ]

[Visual inspection just makes it worse, honestly. Sho looks like absolute shit. Probably not surprising, though, since it's been like three days.

The boot bounces against the floor just short of actually hitting his foot, but Goku takes a step back anyway.]

Hey, what the hell was that for!?

[He didn't do anything, he just came to check up on him!]

That's for telling the world I was down for the count!

[ He's not any more accurate with the second boot, either, but it's vaguely satisfying to make the effort. ]

[And just for effect, he kicks one of the boots right back, only really intending to angle it up and back onto the bed, but. Uh.]

Sho looks at the hole, then over at his idiot shinki. It's actually enough to cut him short when he was clearly gearing up to yell back. ]

Not escalate the situation exponentially? [ On the bright side, he sounds much more mild than he might otherwise have been. ] Even if that seems to be your default function.
