[ And he's there, on the dot. Usual flannel shirt and everything. Thankfully, he's got his hair tied so he actually looks less girly today.

Thankfully, he still remembers Izumo from the last time he saw him. There's one hand raised in greeting. ]

I thought you were putting up a bar of your own?

[Fortunately, Izumo hasn't been waiting too long either.

So, when he hears Eno's voice, he looks over and gives him a wave in greeting.]

That's still a plan, but I'd figured it wouldn't hurt to see what other bars are around here.

That's actually not a bad idea. At least it'll give you a chance to sort out the competition.

[ His hands are in his pockets as he motions over to the door. ]

I don't usually go around this part of town but it should have what you're looking for.

Sorting out the competition is always the fun part.

[Izumo inclines his head before he starts walking, glancing at Enomoto.]

Well then, I'm glad you'll be accompanying me. Wouldn't do to get lost around this part of town, would it?

[ And he leads them down the street, arms folding behind his back as he looks around. ]

[He follows him down the street, taking a good look around the surroundings.]

So, have you managed to figure things out with that sword of yours yet?

No, I'm afraid not.

[ You're going to get him to go on a tirade. ]

No existing ports as far as I can see so any chance of being able to connect it to any computer isn't looking likely. I'm starting to think it isn't all that mechanical. But I'm kind of wondering if it really needs some kind of passcode or an advanced kind of firewall that doesn't need a physical interface to--

[ A beat. ]

....sorry. I... can't stop that sometimes.

Don't worry. I didn't think you were into that sort of thing, though.

[Then again, he feels like he should've expected it at the very least.]

You did say before that it could just be magic instead.

It just... kind of came naturally.

[ ears faintly red at the laugh. Man, does he sound like a major loser sometimes. ]

I couldn't dismiss the "it's tech" possibility though. Not with those sparks when you try to force it open.

I discovered Bar BenFiddich in Shinjuku. Most people come in, down a drink, and leave again, so you won't be noticed as a Far Shore person probably.

I'm out bar-hopping and I stopped in earlier.

There's a couple good ones I don't remember the name of - in general you could just look at places that advertise for karaoke. They'll probably have a bar in there somewhere.

Wait that last one I passed was... Himawari Bar. Just double-checked.

Hm, would that happen to be in Shinjuku, too?

Yeah it is, but it's a karaoke bar. Why, not much of a singer?

Afraid not. I have a terrible singing voice.

[It's a lie, but eh. Who needs to know that.]

If you're REALLY bad, buy a round for the house and they won't care either.

Regret's not my style, sorry.

I'm neither a fan nor do I hate people who do it. I just happened to notice it's become a big thing around this area of Japan.

Hm, it's always been a thing, guess it just got better. In that case, let's go to a karaoke bar. I'm willing to at least try it out. [He's not going to go alone, though.]
