[Cute kisses while Jae-Ha wastes time picking his clothes, what a fine break from a dramatic morning. Hazel sure isn't rushing to get dressed to go cook bacon, so he's just loitering here while Jae-Ha gets ready...]

Sure thing. Breakfast'll be ready by the time ya get back. [Shall he walk Jae-Ha to a window....]

[Look, he is going to leap from a window, but not before kissing Hazel one last time and touching a hand to his cheek.] After we've eaten, I can play some music if you'd like to hear.

[So, they have plans. He'll get back to Sheryl at some point, but right now this is all that he wants. With a little wave, he'll hop off just like that and go on his quick jump!!

His quick jump doesn't end up quite as quick as Jae-Ha would have liked. His whole jump has sad moods mixed in, but towards the end, the dip of fear that goes along with his surprise might come across as an interruption of some sort. Well, even if this "Loki" person was very angry at first and then it turned into reassurance and a lot of talking about things Jae-Ha didn't like, he only returns home a little bruised and scuffed all over because he fell through a temple ceiling.

"You should see the other guy" or something like that, right? Well, this time he's using the front door and hurrying over to peek into the kitchen.]

[That random onslaught of feelings sure does distract from cooking bacon for a couple minutes, but it's not the same crushing depression from earlier, so he'll let it go instead of immediately going to his phone. If it takes Jae-Ha longer than expected to come home, then he'll do something about it. That's fine.

When he does come home, Hazel is just finishing up with putting breakfast on a couple plates. He hears the door open, so when Jae-Ha peeks in,] That's powerfully good timin' you've got there.

[And then he glances up, and - hm??] You're a mess. C'mere and wash your face.

Ah, that's a relief. I was worried I would be late...

[When he was looking forward to coming home to a meal and everything. It works out in the end, even as he quietly touches his own cheek and then glances at his fingers. He walks over to the sink after a few seconds of pause at that, glancing to the food as he turns on the water.]

I fell through a temple. [Explanations... He turns back to the sink and cups his hands under the water before trying to wash some of the scuffs off, at least.] I thought I would be unreachable in the air, but Loki teleported before me as I was flying.

[Look at this guy... showing up all sort-of-cheerfully looking like he just fell through a temple, and god, that's exactly what he did!! Hazel gives him a look and a gentle nudge in the ribs before he moves on to putting these plates on the table.]

Didja kick him in the teeth? [make his day]

Actually, yes.

[Look at him, following advice just thanks to convenient reflex. He shakes his hands dry and grabs a towel to wipe his face off, and now he looks fairly better with just a couple of tiny bruises and no gross dusty temple dirt all over.]

I kicked him out of the sky, and he teleported to the rooftop of the temple I crashed through. His face was bleeding, and he was rather angry... [Now he can turn and head over to the table to follow these plates, yay.]

I wonder if he might ever try it while I'm at home.

[Jae-Ha is such a good boy... Hazel is proud of him for kicking this guy he's never met in the teeth. That's great!!]

What, poppin' in unannounced? I'm sick and tired of puttin' up with that manner of nonsense, so he'd be a right fool to try.

[Would Hazel wholesale just try to maim someone trying to get into his house, at this point?? Yes.]

He must be in love with me, to be so persistent.

[Haha, he's joking, and yet his own terrible joke has him making a face as he pulls out his chair at the table.] ...To tell the truth, I hate being pursued, but more than that, I hate that I was knocked out of the sky.

[It's not like that's how he dies or anything,] I feel safest in the air and in my own mind, and he's violated both of those things.

[Hazel makes a face— how gross— and stabs some bacon with his fork to emphasize how gross that is. What kind of person tromps around merrily in somebody's mind like that, anyway??]

Maybe he'll do it to the wrong person and get more than a kick in the face. [MAYBE HE'LL JUST GET MURDERED, says Hazel, but look nobody thought Hazel's morals were in perfect order to begin with.]

Maybe... [But would that solve anything when people occasionally come back from the dead, here? He sits down finally, having a bite of his food as he thinks. He'd like to not worry about it, but he could reappear at any moment, it seems. Attempts to tell him to ask or warn first were only answered with maybes, and no matter how Schuldig had assured him that he was over the anger from the kick, Jae-Ha found it hard to shake that yelling from his mind.

He just didn't understand him, basically. Why won't he go away...]

At least breakfast is delicious. How lucky I am.

Hazel has nothing else to offer besides "maybe someone else will take care of it," unfortunately, as weird and bothersome as it is. He doesn't even know the full context, but he's read that one thread and that's enough. What a freak!!

...I'm not sure. To be honest, even if Sheryl's offer seemed kind, I would rather stay with you. But it would be rude to refuse, wouldn't it...?

[But, what if that weird Loki guy bugs him again, he also wants to be around Hazel and no one else. Then again, he doesn't want that weird Loki guy to appear anywhere near Hazel either, or for Hazel to have to witness anything. Hmmmm... He made him bleed pretty good, so he'll probably be busy for a while.]

I believe if I explain that I seem to have a stalker, she'll spread it everywhere.

[Things Hazel knows about Sheryl as of right now: she's apparently a gossip, and obviously a flirt. Hmm.]

I reckon y'could reschedule, if it's buggin' ya so much. It's her problem if she gets bent outta shape, after this mornin'.

[Which... is flattering, maybe, but also a bit much. He's not sure it would actually cheer him up.] I wouldn't want to hurt her feelings, but I wonder if rescheduling would help avoid that...

Don't do anythin' ya don't wanna do. [SHRUG... this is simple, Jae-Ha.] If ya don't feel like gettin' sung at, don't go today.

[It might be simple, but he has principles!! Well, it's not like he'd be being mean, though.]

I'd rather enjoy your breakfast, play us some music and spend time with you. Perhaps we could work on our languages.

[Ah... he almost forgot the gay music!! Yes, great plan.]

I don't see why not. It'll be a nice, quiet day without any more unpleasant surprises.

[He nods at his breakfast like that will definitely confirm that no one else will mess anything up today, and reaches out to offer Jae-Ha his hand across the table. Eat cutely with him, let's go.]

[There's that hand. When Hazel says things like that, he wants to believe them, even if there's a risk behind everything else. Reaching over with his free hand, he places it in Hazel's and holds on tight, smiling softly.]

Thank you, dear. [Usually when that word slips out it's just politeness, but in this case, there's a warm fondness to it that's a lot more intimate. Of course. He's speaking to Hazel. And now he's nibbling on some bacon, too. It's better to focus on this than it is to deal with the fact that Schuldig told him a bit more about how he can manipulate his emotions...]

It's impossible to feel unpleasant while you're in the room.

[Okay, but what kind of mind reader just straight up tells people what they can do, also— how many criticisms would Hazel have if he knew everything!! So many.

But he doesn't, so he'll content himself with holding Jae-Ha's hand and eating breakfast with the other. Call him cute things like dear more often...]

[That gets a little laugh out of Jae-Ha.]

You do. [He's cute when he's like this, somehow. So Jae-Ha enjoys some more of his breakfast and never lets go of his hand as he does. Rather than focusing for too long on all of the details he hasn't mentioned, he'll think ahead to music time. That's a fair idea.]

[Yeah, he's pretty great. That laugh is enough for Hazel, so they can enjoy their cute breakfast without dwelling on how crappy the early morning was. Hopefully Jae-Ha is in the mood for doing some dishes, because Hazel's still going to be a whiny brat about those. He does it lovingly!!

Then, it will be time for gay music...]

[Hazel is so spoiled, but Jae-Ha finds it endearing. He's cute when he's whiny, and he doesn't mind helping out, really. So he'll do the dishes easily, dry his hands again and then reach to take Hazel's and lead him up to the music room.

Once they get there, he lets his hand slip away only once he's sat down on the couch, his erhu in one hand as he pats the seat next to him with the other.]

Sit as close as you can.

[Doing chores for him, what a good bf!! Hazel's mood is improving even more from the early morning, now that they can slide back into their little routine and have some music time.

Of course, he's happy to oblige and scoot close to Jae-Ha, but helpfully not too close to interrupt his fat violin playing.]

I'm ready for the big show.

It would be fairly easy to play something that makes me think of the terrible things that continue to happen. But instead of that, I've been thinking that I'll play something I've been working on in secret.

[You know, in between all of the gay. He sets the instrument up in his lap and smiles to Hazel as he readies himself.] It's a song for you, so listen well.

[He wrote Hazel a gay song?? He did. In his head, since it's all memory and he doesn't know how to physically write music, but he knows it by heart. So, here is his gay song, not nearly as melancholy as the other songs he's played, but still with a hint of it. He's dead, there always has to be some sort of melancholy.

But for the most part, it's just purely beautiful.]

For me? [For real?? That's genuine surprise in his voice, like, he honestly didn't expect Jae-Ha to even think about writing - or composing or whatever - a song for him. When would he have time to think up a whole song, pretty much...

Anyway, he's really touched, if it weren't already obvious. He knows nothing about music but he knows it's a good song, and Jae-Ha plays well, and this is a whole gay song just for him, so of course it gets him right in the heart. What a sweetie, ugh.

He can't hold his hand, so he settles for putting his hand on Jae-Ha's leg at some point in the middle of this gay song. How sweet... what the hell......]
