How many of us had experience fighting before coming here? Or after? Seta Souji, Hououji Fuu and I were thinking about setting up response teams considering what's been happening lately. That's part of why I'm asking. I was training to become a pro hero at home, so I've got a little experience fighting. I know hand to hand well. I can't really say I'm a martial artist, but I know a few moves that worked for me.

If you'd like to learn self-defense, I'm happy to help. But if you want to trade lessons I'm fine with that too.

There's also an armory in one of my apartments. I don't really use any weapons, but if anybody needs something from it like weapons or armor, it's there. I'm not sure how much it'll help against ayakashi but it's better than nothing.

As a longer-term, more passive goal for the moment, I'd suggest trying to learn more about the native gods' relations with each other, with a particular eye out for anyone who'd stand to gain from the downfall of "our" previous incarnations or weakened faith in Amaterasu and her administration. The incident with the chocolates and the fire recently both seem likely to be connected to someone fitting that basic description, and since they've been clever enough not to get themselves caught so far, it's entirely possible they were both part of one person or faction's concerted effort to sow distrust in the powers that be.

Susano'o's little incident has an obvious culprit already, and the ayakashi that went wild is a case that's been resolved. Investigating what hands the chocolates passed through before the first incident and following up on the school and the principal seem like some of the more pressing short-term surveillance missions.
