How many of us had experience fighting before coming here? Or after? Seta Souji, Hououji Fuu and I were thinking about setting up response teams considering what's been happening lately. That's part of why I'm asking. I was training to become a pro hero at home, so I've got a little experience fighting. I know hand to hand well. I can't really say I'm a martial artist, but I know a few moves that worked for me.

If you'd like to learn self-defense, I'm happy to help. But if you want to trade lessons I'm fine with that too.

There's also an armory in one of my apartments. I don't really use any weapons, but if anybody needs something from it like weapons or armor, it's there. I'm not sure how much it'll help against ayakashi but it's better than nothing.

Sword and bow? [It seems like an odd combination, but it makes sense. Something long range and something for close.]

Neither of my partners turn into weapons, but would you be willing to teach? Or be part of a response team?

Of course. I would be willing to lend a hand to both causes. The title 'Lord Commander' may not hold sway here but I am a knight most of all; it would be ill advised to not answer the call to those who need it.

I already told Bona Dea I'd join the response team whenever you three sort it out. At least you seem like you're on top of things.

I'm skilled in hand-to-hand and have a few years of battlefield experience. I'm instructing one person already, but if you're offering to trade lessons then I wouldn't turn down having another sparring partner who already knows what they're doing.

I have experience with martial arts and actual combat. Before coming here, I was in a leadership position in a military group for around 6 years. It's becoming increasingly apparent that we need to develop more coordinated responses to the emergencies that keep popping up, so I'd like to volunteer my own services and my shinki's, if you're looking at getting teams together.

Regarding your armory, are there any swords lying around?

[He shouldn't need one, with his shinki, but having a backup plan for worst-case scenarios has worked out for him often enough in the past.]

Alright, I'll keep that in mind. Leadership is definitely valuable and so is experience. It seems like the number of problems that we're running into has been going up. [He doesn't have too much of it himself, but he can usually get the job done when it comes to that.]

I have a lot of swords. Did you need one?

I've always wanted to be one. It's a lot of work, but at the end of the day you can help so many people that way.
