Yeah. I've made mackerel before, though. But not this kind.

[And he failed that mackerel dish, too. Even with supervision.]

As long as you are not injured, there is still a silver lining. But do you have the recipe by chance? Mayhap there was something there that may have been missed?

4 celery sticks, finely chopped, plus a few leaves to serve
1 onion, finely chopped
3 tbsp plain flour
600ml whole milk
2 large potatoes, cut into cubes
200g pack smoked peppered mackerel, flaked
200g frozen sweetcorn

I don't know what "flaked" means, exactly, so I just cut it up, too. I might have messed up with the flour, too. It started getting really brown really fast when I tried to mix that in.
