I know everybirdie is really busy and there's been a lot going an lately but I've been thinking a lot about what happened at the party.

[Hiyoko is well aware that a lot of other stuff happened right after and there were plenty of gods and shinki still dealing with the fallout from that. That's why she gave it a few days. But now it's time to see if anybirdie else is thinking along the same lines as her.]

That fire was obviously set by people who aren't happy with Amaterasu. I'm not sure if it's her they don't like, or if she's put some unpopular policies in place, but we can't really ignore an attack like this. Has this group tired anything like this before? Have they made any other demands?

[Because 'down with Amaterasu' is one thing, but 'down with the heavens?' What are they supposed to do? Start hurling their temples at the near shore? That demand is way too vague.]

I also heard about an incident with poisoned chocolates. That was before I got here but the whole thing sounded pretty fishy. Does anybirdie else think that might have been an attempt to discredit Amaterasu? And if there any other incidents like that, I wouldn't mind hearing about them.

Asking around. It's kind of amazing how much everybirdie knows. And apparently that god will lose their memories too, and have to start over.

That's even weirder. What happens if the god in charge of things dies?

Same thing. Actually... I kinda think that's what's going on right now.

Well, yeah, but I mean... how's a god supposed to keep doin' the same job if they don't remember anything about how? Seems like that'd cause a pretty big problem, 'specially if they were the one runnin' the whole show.

Nobirdie said it was smart. What bothers me is that we have to piece all this information together on our own. There should've been a pamphlet at least...

Yeah, I guess maybe that's the point. So you think somebody already killed Amaterasu, or what?

Yeah, I do. What I want to know is when she died.

Huh. So she'd look like a little kid or somethin' now, I guess...?

[He looks like he's sort of on the verge of putting something together.]

She does. At least, according to this guy.

[She brings up another conversation on her phone. Someone who met Amaterasu at the picnic and she was a child.]

Hmm... y'know, I met a little kid when that fire broke out. She seemed real concerned about helpin' everybody. You don't think that mighta been her?
