I know everybirdie is really busy and there's been a lot going an lately but I've been thinking a lot about what happened at the party.
[Hiyoko is well aware that a lot of other stuff happened right after and there were plenty of gods and shinki still dealing with the fallout from that. That's why she gave it a few days. But now it's time to see if anybirdie else is thinking along the same lines as her.]
That fire was obviously set by people who aren't happy with Amaterasu. I'm not sure if it's her they don't like, or if she's put some unpopular policies in place, but we can't really ignore an attack like this. Has this group tired anything like this before? Have they made any other demands?
[Because 'down with Amaterasu' is one thing, but 'down with the heavens?' What are they supposed to do? Start hurling their temples at the near shore? That demand is way too vague.]
I also heard about an incident with poisoned chocolates. That was before I got here but the whole thing sounded pretty fishy. Does anybirdie else think that might have been an attempt to discredit Amaterasu? And if there any other incidents like that, I wouldn't mind hearing about them.
What you guys think?

I'll make sure keep my eyes peeled for clues either way.
[Clues that she imagines finding like she's the main character in a detective movie. There will obviously be finger prints and secret passages everywhere.]

Hi!
Me again.
I learned a bunch of interesting stuff from everybirdie I talked to today.
Not really about the fire, but about other things that have been going on.
Interested?

But it is interesting.
It looks like every ten days a new batch of gods and shinki show up.
And about half the time, something else happens on the same day.
2/24- Sudden large scale ayakashi attack.
3/5- Boat festival. (Mostly peaceful.)
3/15- Poisoned chocolates
3/26- Apology for poisoned chocolates.
4/5- That school thing. We never did figure out what was behind all that.
4/15- Spring cleaning. Also peaceful? If you don't count all the dust bunnies.
4/25- Cherry blossom picnic goes down in flames.
Pretty weird, huh?

Written out like that, it almost looks like it alternates between peaceful and dangerous things, but that's not a pattern I'd rely on lasting long here.

Why would it be that regular?
Or that frequent?
That's a lot of vanishing gods.

But I wish the old gods would share more info with us.
They want us to help them but they sure don't make it easy.
It's kind of frustrating.

If you haven't already, try talking to Bishamon. She's one of the older gods, but she's not bad about sharing information as they go.
