[Remember the last time Leo made a voice post, how detached he sounded?
Yeah, not so much this time. Leo is not happy right now, and his arm still hurts a little from the fighting which means it's a voice post.]
Does anyone know what caused the ayakashi attack and how we're going to keep that from happening again?

It's probably the oldest trope in the book though. Classic good and evil. The darkness exist because of the light kind of bullshit.
[Okay so many she doesn't exactly have all the details -- half conscious as she was most of that day -- but it's still sage advice by her estimation.]

that's all you got though? just big and strong? cause I was starting to get the impression there wasn't really a limit for these things.

I was a bit busy trying not to die to get much more than that, aside from also being very gross and possibly smoldering.

You got that close but missed that much? Well whatever. These things are basically pests aren't they? You deal with them as best you can but you're never gonna get all of them and every so often one flies under the radar long enough to really cause problems. I'd say preparing for it is your best bet.

Ayakashi don't seem uncommon here. With how often they attack, it seems like a natural occurrence more than anything. I'm not sure you could get rid of them entirely, unless you could get rid of negative emotion.
[However]
This latest one felt different than the others, though.

It feels like it. I'm not sure if it's just because of how powerful it was compared to others but there was something twisted about it.
It even looked like it had human-like flesh. I don't think I've seen any other ayakashi with that.
