[Remember the last time Leo made a voice post, how detached he sounded?

Yeah, not so much this time. Leo is not happy right now, and his arm still hurts a little from the fighting which means it's a voice post.]

Does anyone know what caused the ayakashi attack and how we're going to keep that from happening again?

I missed it! By the time I heard about its rampage, it was all over! I wanted to fight something that strong!

It blighted and nearly killed at least one person, likely more. Why the hells would you want to fight that?

Because obviously, that means it was really strong! And what I want to do is fight strong opponents. The shitty little ayakashi that hang around... they're no challenge at all. It's no fun!

No, "no fun" is being only able to walk because you are on what this world calls "incredibly strong painkillers". I fought that ayakashi, and it was not fun.

I know why it seemed to be intelligent. It was a shinki that had turned into one. I don't know how that happened, but it did. A little of him was still human in form and I recognized the tattoo under its eye. It was a shinki named Axel.

He was an acquaintance. I only spoke to him once, on the day I arrived, when I helped him throw out some boxes of junk. He seemed like a decent guy.
