As the elderly among us have realized, most of us seem to be underage. Since that's the case, I have a question regarding my education.

I'm not quite sure what to do without highschool. The concerns of reaching graduation aside, my days seem emptier without the responsibilities I had back home. Time passes much slower when I can only spend it on hobbies. And it's frustrating knowing that looking for a job would be pointless due to our apparent invisibility to normal people.

(Which is ridiculous, by the way.)

To be blunt, it's stressing me out. Apparently. My shinki noticed it enough to point it out. They even threatened me if I didn't write this.

So let me know if you have an answer. I'm obviously at a loss. Please also let me know if you have any excess paperwork. At least I know that soothes me.

I'm not sure how best to explain it, but many of us have jobs there and are able to interact with the living, so we're not exactly invisible. I see no reason you couldn't attend school.

In most areas I am. However a self-taught education is often undervalued in the modern world. It would just amount to another hobby without a third party structure.

The best education is one led by interest, not structure, unless you're studying alchemy, magic, or whatever the equivalents are here.

I think you're going into the realm of the subjective. Most would believe alchemy and magic to fall into the realm of a hobby.

That's interesting, though. Are those what you would deem to be the main structure of an education?

Subjective for you, but I've spent my entire life studying and perfecting my skill in magic back home.

Of course not. Magic can't be learned except by those with an innate talent for it, and we don't need fifty alchemists running around. They're just the fields I think of that require some guidance unless you like blowing yourself up.

Yes. I like to learn. I'd also like to graduate and continue with my life, though I'm not sure that's relevant anymore.

"Subjective for me" is essentially the definition of subjective.

Either way, what you're describing sounds like the equivalent of a doctor or a scientist here. If you'd like to take it further it could also be applied to the school I left. They certainly were more well-equipped for it.

I assumed being a god/goddess would call for more responsibility than it does. Reading isn't productive enough to keep me satisfied. My shinki insist I need something more to make me less antsy.

They probably assumed you were some lunatic, or you went unnoticed - which is not the same as being invisible.

Almost. My god is going through the trouble of teaching me English, but he's growing rather frustrated trying to learn Japanese on his own. I can't help him at all when my only knowledge is the basic way we can all understand each other.
