As the elderly among us have realized, most of us seem to be underage. Since that's the case, I have a question regarding my education.

I'm not quite sure what to do without highschool. The concerns of reaching graduation aside, my days seem emptier without the responsibilities I had back home. Time passes much slower when I can only spend it on hobbies. And it's frustrating knowing that looking for a job would be pointless due to our apparent invisibility to normal people.

(Which is ridiculous, by the way.)

To be blunt, it's stressing me out. Apparently. My shinki noticed it enough to point it out. They even threatened me if I didn't write this.

So let me know if you have an answer. I'm obviously at a loss. Please also let me know if you have any excess paperwork. At least I know that soothes me.

I think you're going into the realm of the subjective. Most would believe alchemy and magic to fall into the realm of a hobby.

That's interesting, though. Are those what you would deem to be the main structure of an education?

Subjective for you, but I've spent my entire life studying and perfecting my skill in magic back home.

Of course not. Magic can't be learned except by those with an innate talent for it, and we don't need fifty alchemists running around. They're just the fields I think of that require some guidance unless you like blowing yourself up.

"Subjective for me" is essentially the definition of subjective.

Either way, what you're describing sounds like the equivalent of a doctor or a scientist here. If you'd like to take it further it could also be applied to the school I left. They certainly were more well-equipped for it.

No. It wasn't anything as serious as those. Honestly, I wouldn't put them on the same level but in terms of programs requiring structure and guidance, I believe my school fit.

Although I suppose it would also be fitting to say we were being groomed.

I am going to assume you don't mean something people worship.

Sometimes they do.

An idol is the most elite of performers. One who's mastered all skills of their craft and can inspire a great happiness in others.

Like I said, it's far from doctors and scientists, but that doesn't leave it without merit.

I did say I was sometimes worshipped.

I thought schools were meant to teach useful skills to their pupils.

Don't talk down on my education simply because you don't understand it. If you're as intelligent as you claim you should know that learning's greatest enemy is a closed mind.

There's talking down and there is being so baffled that a school for performers is so strict and structured that you compare it to science or magic.

Both are still instances of ignorance. Perhaps you should include time to reflect on that in your next lesson.

Then you're placing your own insecurities onto my words. Looking down on someone based on their lack of exposure is unreasonable. That type of behavior is lower than me.

I'm allowed some pride in my success at my work. My fans care for me care for me because my music temporarily wipes away their sorrows. I won't pretend to be humble about bringing a smile to their faces.

You might want to reconsider that stance. People admire humility far more than they do puffed up egos.
