school's out forever

As the elderly among us have realized, most of us seem to be underage. Since that's the case, I have a question regarding my education.
I'm not quite sure what to do without highschool. The concerns of reaching graduation aside, my days seem emptier without the responsibilities I had back home. Time passes much slower when I can only spend it on hobbies. And it's frustrating knowing that looking for a job would be pointless due to our apparent invisibility to normal people.
(Which is ridiculous, by the way.)
To be blunt, it's stressing me out. Apparently. My shinki noticed it enough to point it out. They even threatened me if I didn't write this.
So let me know if you have an answer. I'm obviously at a loss. Please also let me know if you have any excess paperwork. At least I know that soothes me.
[He sure is offering to be anyone's secretary.]

Although there are days when the kittens swarm the house. When that happens, all of my time disappears.

[Which you're not really supposed to do, but he knows how the Pokemon populating his own home are...it's probably a moot point.]
What're kittens?
1/2
For now, let me get you a photo.
[It's still kind of weird this guy doesn't know what a kitten is but at this point, Keito's kind of getting used to it.]

Sorry for the wait. I had to find the photo on my shinki's Twitter. I'm still trying to get used to it.
Anyway, that's Athos, one of my kittens. Unlike the others, he's pretty mellow. I think he's one of the older babies I have here but I'm not sure. He could just be mature for his age.

The wildlife where I come from's nothing like here, but I met a guy with a cat not too long ago. She was nice! [Although the entire encounter left him generally confused about how intelligent cats actually are.]

But, you're right. Maybe on both accounts. "First form" isn't a bad way of saying he's a child, is it? Kitten is just a word used to denote that. He's still a "cat", but "kitten" is more often used to clarify that he's still young.

[Eventually, he sends over a picture of several of these sticking their heads out of the water. These things are like 5'll'' on average they are some monster sharks.]
These are Sharpedo! I had one of my own back home, but these guys are cool too.

They look dangerous. Are you sure they're alright to keep so casually?
[they have torpedo in their name]

[It looks like a tiny group of an utterly different but still dangerous-looking fish. Small in numbers, not size, they're still almost three feet from dorsal to ventral fin.]
They're called Carvanha!

You're starting to worry me. A fish like that is definitely deadly. Do you mean to say they're peaceful?
[they have piranha in their name..........]

Don't swear. Children can read this.
Speaking of which, it seems questionable to give such a dangerous animal to a child but...
You said you were a trainer, right? Could that mean they're similar to dogs, where increased aggression is usually the owner's fault? If that's the case then I might be able to believe they're harmless.

[...no cursing, okay. It's pretty obvious that kids can see this when you actually put any thought into it, which he sort of hadn't been.]
bad.

That's one of my puppies. (Puppies are young dogs.)
Anyway, that's a relief. It'd be worrying if you were in constant danger within your own temple. Still, you should put up signs around the water in case you have unsuspecting visitors. That way if they provoke the fish (should I call them Pokemon?) enough to hurt themselves you can deny liability.

[He'd be lying if he said he didn't kinda enjoy people's reactions to his Pokemon. He knew what he was doing, showing off the Sharpedo first.]
"Pokemon" for us is pretty much like "animals" for you. They're all Pokemon, there's just a million different types. I'd toss out anyone who messed with the wild ones here, but signs are probably still a good idea. Keep people from feeding them junk, too.

[This is just turning into animal hour.]
Oh, that reminds me!
Do you know what would be junk? Outside of the obvious things like junk food and processed garbage, I mean. I don't have many aquatic animals but I've been trying my best not to disrupt my animals' natural diet. Unfortunately, I'm not very experienced in animal care. I've just been relying on internet articles.

A lot of that depends on what exactly you've got. In general though, you don't really wanna feed them any human food, even if it ain't junk. Fish aren't picky, but that doesn't mean you oughta let them eat whatever. A lot of them'll eat seaweed, or plankton.
These guys here feed themselves, but I fed my Sharpedo raw fish. Don't give them live food if they're not used to that though.

Although... if it's supposed to be natural, does that mean I should stay away from leaving the food concentrated in certain spots? Like a trough. Would that be trouble?
... Thinking about it now, it might be easier if I could just show you.

[And his fish sound less temperamental overall, so it's a win-win!]
