It's not being illogical mind! Just takes the fun out of it when you've everything on rails.
Ever tried being spontaneous? It's an adventure all in itself. Some girls like that sort of thing.

Spontaneous? What is so fun in leaving things to fall as they may? When I go on a date I would make sure that everything is taken care of so the other would not have to worry about a thing.

It's called fun, lad. Not sure why this seems like such a foreign concept to you.
But your not wanting your date to worry's a thoughtful gesture.
