Can Shinki get sick?

[ A seemingly simple question, but one that's been clawing at him for days. The symptoms have become too painful to ignore, so he bites his tongue and seeks answers because unknown to him, his bloodlust has begun to manifest. ]

How do you know they're from your world? Do you remember them?

[ The words come out even before he realizes he's sent them but once sent he can't retract them. He doesn't know how, but he knows the statement to be true. ]

of course I don't. But she knows me. Or knows of me... or just knows what a Hollow is and was able to tell me that's what I am. That's enough for me. If I think about it much more deeply than that, I get that twisty stomach-ache.

[ Which meant, he could do the same. He had no intention of harming anyone. Ever. ]

Only because I can use animals as a substitute, man. If I didn't hunt almost every day, I don't know if I could keep myself off the spirits.

[ His eyes widen at the confession, but instead of being repulsed by the idea his words touch something deep in his subconscious where memories still lingered. He had done the same to stave off the hunger. Drank the blood of insane vampires before executing them making himself more and more unstable with each drop of blood tainted with insanity he drank.

[ In his world, they used spells against vampires to incapacitate them, but something like this... it would need to be more refined but then he had heard of spells that didn't simply kill, but restrained. ]

yeah! something like that. but I know I don't have anything like that in my repertoire. I'm, uh.... hands on.

I'll seek some help. Maybe they can be taught.

[ He was a vampire hunter in his previous life and with it came a certain ability to make and cast spells. He didn't know it yet, but curses, at least minor ones, would not be totally out his scope. ]

You mean maybe we could learn a spell like that? Damn that'd be pretty useful. Keep me in the loop!

[ Whatever was happening to him, it was clear he wasn't the only one suffering by a past he couldn't remember. The bone-deep hunger that clawed at his throat wasn't anything he'd wish on anyone, so if he could help then he wouldn't hold back the information. ]
